Stan owns the Uppercut Salon and he does a wonderful styling of my hair & his coloring expertise is classy & and skilled. The decor and layout of the hair salon is functional yet somewhat artsy with a painting. Stan has always been very polite to me and respectful. His hair products tools appear clean and his hair salon and bathroom are sanitary & and neat/organized. He's styled my hair for about 4 years now, and he's been consistent in creating a quality experience & hairstyling /balayage results for me.

Stan is an institution in Ft Lauderdale!
I have been a client of the Upper Cut for over 2 decades. Friends and strangers are always admiring my hair color and style.
He is always friendly and polite. I have had to reschedule my appointments several times. He keeps a list and calls as soon as an appointment come available. This may take awhile since we all know that Stan is very popular and getting a rebook can take awhile.
Once you get on a regular booking you will be like me,,, looking great for decades!

A master hair stylist! I have fine, straight hair with no body. Stan is the only hair professional who has been able to cut and texture my hair to give it the body it needs. He pays attention to detail and takes the time to give me a perfect cut. His highlighting skills make my mousy hair look naturally blonde. Since going to Stan, I have never thought of going anywhere else.

I have been seeing Stan for more than 30 years. Professional, talented and courteous. Never had one bad experience over all these years. His place is immaculate and clean. He only has one customer at a time since Covid started and never changed that. I will never use a different hairdresser

Seven years ago we moved to Fort Lauderdale and I was looking for a hairstylist. While shopping I saw a lady with a perfect hair cut. I approached her and asked which salon she uses. She recommended Stan and the Uppercut Hair Salon in Fort Lauderdale. My husband and I are going there ever since. Stan is a true professional and runs his one-man shop with skill and courtesy. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

If i could give this business a 0 I would. This place is dirty and i will never go back. I was literally worried that i would get lice or catch an infection. His tools looked dirty and the bathroom had rat turds in it. Horrible experience, I really don't know how this place is still open. The owner seems miserable and is beyond rude. Save yourself and find another place. This guy needs to retire.

I called for a appointment and that rude gray haired old lady who is always there I guess as a receptionist, I thought she / it was a toilet cleaner was rude to me and used foul language and called me so many dirty names I cannot repeat them as I ama good Christian woman !
