Went to a location across town where I rented a van and they also set me up for a storage unit aswell. when I arrive at the Broward location. I was greeted with a rude behavior, belligerent attitude, and I already pre-paid for the storage unit just for it not to be available. I was showed the unit, and it was followed with you need to call customer service with snappy attitudes and we don’t do remote move-in’s. Meanwhile the line grew out of the door. I was returned my money for the unit, but I lost 70 bucks due to a rental day extension on the van.

very bad attention. It's terrible, the staff is overbearing and inattentive. They have propane gas service and they do not serve it. Don't waste time on this one, look for a better one.

In 47 years, this is the worst experience of dealing with this location or any other location. Corporate customer service was friendly and helpful even though not always accurate or keeping his word on what they say overall, the money was refunded, but still would go to a different location if you’re not using another company. One employee was even aggressive and threatening. truck was completely covered in German cockroaches. They rented it to me anyways.

First, I would like to begin saying that I do value Uhaul as a company and I have major respect for this organization. Nonetheless, I would like to express my deepest concerns with this particular location, 2800 W Broward BlvdFort Lauderdale FL 33312. I rented a pick up truck for a couple of hours, as soon as I got inside the truck the bad odor/smell was inexplicable, truly it was a terrible experience. I had to accept the fact of the horrible smell, then I attempted to turn on the A/C of the truck and unfortunately this one did not work for my entire rental. It was rainy day so the experience got worse and worse to the point where obviously the windshield glass of the truck started to get foggier, something can could of easily ended on a tragic accident. I returned the truck personally into the store and asked to speak with a member of the leadership team so I can explain/ express my reasonable concerns and the answer I got form a staff member was she is not here she is on break, again very concerning and unprofessional situation at this store. If possible, I would like for some that could further assist to connect with me via phone before escalating this concern to a higher tier. When I normally though renting this truck will be fun and helpful, my family and I had the worst experience. Thank you allowing me to provide this feedback.

This particular location is the worst. Unfortunately i have to use this place often for rental trailers and if you want anything from here be prepared to wait long periods of time in line. The counter staff is inconsiderate, unmanaged, incompetent and often times rude with self righteous attitudes showing zero regard for customer service. Once you get passed the torturous time dealing with them the outside crew of fellas is relatively solid. They will save your day with your rental. Otherwise dealing with the counter crew inside is almost intolerable at times. Many times I've chosen to walk out of here and got my trailer from a different location, when time and availability had permitted. Otherwise their product availability has me coming to this location often, but with great hesitation. There is a clear lack of management and employee discipline here. The employees stand around and chat amongst themselves while the customer waiting line grows to the door. They are completely immersed in personal conversations with other non working staff members even when they are in the process of assisting you. Your patience better be like that of a saint to deal with this location.

Rented a trailer from them and they claimed I did not return it on time. I had rented it until 11pm and returned it at 6pm and they claimed it had not until the following day. Their employee was the one who put it into the spot and told me that I was good to go. I called multiple times I have reached out to customer service multiple times. They tell me if the phone is busy that I will be redirected to the corporate line. I have called well over 20 times and been redirected every time. The corporate help desk tells me to just keep calling the number until I get some one. I will never in my life rent from U-Haul again. They have cameras it takes them 5 minutes to confirm the trailer was dropped off on time but they refuse to do anything but give me the go around and steal my money.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We came in with a reservation, to which they handed us the keys to a truck which not only was dirty AND on empty, which even then we didn’t mind as we just needed to move furniture. HOWEVER, we had made the reservation in order to do this TODAY as we work every other day, upon inspecting the car further than the gas and the cleanliness, the truck was CRASHED. The gentlemen who helped us was kind and informed us this truck hadn’t even been inspected and he could send it to be cleaned. The cleanliness was not the issue, rather the fact it was CRASHED. We ended up opting to ask for a refund. The second lady who assisted us with the refund was the definition of a HORRENDOUS customer service representative. If you go to this location, even though the cars are horrible, avoid the lady with the long blonde braids. The company would be better off firing her.

10am reservation, arrived and was told no truck available until 12:30. Would have sucked less if I would have atleast got a call before I spent $30 on an Uber just to wait for hours.

Literally the most incompetent people. We reserved a truck for 2 days starting at 12:30pm. Had to push it back and some guy Angelo apparently cancels it instead of putting the pick up time for 2:30pm. Not sure how you get move the reservation to 2:30pm pick to cancellation. Now we have to pay more mileage when we reserved a truck for 2 days so it should matter wether we pick up the truck at 12:30pm or 2:30pm because we still have to pay for it. Had this reservation since Wednesday. Get it together.

The guy doing the hitch installs in this shop is onpoint and knowledgeable, saying this because last uhaul spot i took it the guy had no clue how to install it and even kept 2 of the screws from the frame after failing to install. Highly recommend this location

Don't storage your stuff there, you will loose everything due to water leaks on the roof and also gets flooded.The insurance will not cover, they will trick you.We are getting together to sue the insurance for lying to the people.
