The owner Jared is totally useless .Last year trying to check in one a Sunday I call and texted him 6 times to get the code to get in , to no avail, we had to get another hotel room until Monday morning .His manager explain to us that he's gay boyfriend was ill . Sorry no reason not to text me the code . So unprofessional of him and didn't even reimburse us one night that we had to stay somewhere else .Also palmetto bugs are an issue to , obviously, he doesn't exterminate on a regular basis .

This is a little far from restaurants and shops, but it's quiet. Better suited for travelers with a car and without children. The rooms are awkwardly laid out with some very tight fits. Many rooms we saw were not handicap accessible and there is no elevator for higher floor rooms. It is really cool that you're surrounded by $200K sailboats and the pool is nice - but for adults, not children.

Beautiful! I would come here again! Each area of the hotel has its own ac unit so everyone controls their own sleep temp! If you're anything like my family you need this so you all make it home alive... the pool is beautiful ! The staff was so helpful. Beach is walking distance which is very convenient and if you're like me and get your drink on on vacation... you don't have to walk back. They have golf carts that will bring you to this hotel for cheap! Very nice experience here. Only con I have which I knocked a star down for it... the ice machine built into the fridge was rusty and all the ice was orange because of it... even after cleaning it all out it was gross in there... so check your ice making freezers before you use it!!! I didnt notice until second day.... but a major pro that I have never seen anywhere else! By the office is Aloe and sunscreen and all your sun needs! I burnt to a crisp and it was so convenient to be able to walk downstairs to get some pumps of Aloe!!!!!

Complete SCAM!!! They sold our reservation to someone because Miami was overbooked that night, closed the reception and disappeared. No one showed up upon calling and leaving multiple messages, no calls answered, no messages returned... just like that. We had to leave after hours of waiting.PS Now as I have read other reviews who were similarly got screwed because the hotel talks nonsense about our credit cards, I am completely confident that this hotel is run by a bunch of losers who are just trying to squeeze every penny to make their miserable living.

Amazing peaceful zen place to relax in lush gardens, spacious suites and walking distance to all Las Ola's And the beach has to offer. New owners are professional and seem to take great pride in the full guest experience. It's like stepping into another world of peace and relaxation!

We stayed 4 nights in January 2018. We had to call several times to get our room code sent before we arrived.
When we arrived there was leftover opened packets of food in the cupboards and there wasn't enough bed linen for the sofa bed. This was rectified and they apologised. However when the room was serviced the extra bed linen was taken away and not replaced, so we had to ask again. I checked the crockery in the cupboard was not cleaned properly, so I washed all the plates and bowls.
On a positive note the location was great. We were walking distance to the beach and restaurants and cafes .
The apartment was on the ground floor and had access to a lovely patio, which was great for breakfast in the morning. The apartment was beautiful and the kitchenette had everything you could need. Plus the shower was great.

We booked several days ago and were told we would have an email with check in information. We patiently waited but never received any info and management. Thank you to the lovely staff that got us connected with management! The location is superb and the property is perfect for our family!

When I first saw this place, it looked to be the perfect place to celebrate a bachelor party for my best friend. I booked 5 rooms (with 2 bedrooms in each) for 10 people through booking.com over a month in advance as we knew it would be busy since it was during spring break. We had several questions for the hotel staff prior to my arrival, and reach out several times in the weeks prior using their phone number and email listed on their website, and additionally also through the booking.com contact link. Unfortunately, I never heard from them once, but nonetheless was still excited to celebrate and didn’t think twice. When I arrived, you can imagine my dismay as I found out that they had cancelled the reservation while I was on the way. They had already filled the rooms with other people. I was furious, and talked to the hotel owner who appeared to be concerned, and was quick to blame booking.com for the mishap. So I called booking, and they said that my reservation was not cancelled, and was still active. So at this point, both hotel and booking.com were pointing fingers at each other. With the room gone, I spent the next 8 hours fighting with booking.com to find me another comparable arrangement, which they never did. I ended up paying several thousand dollars more for an inferior accommodation due to low inventory because of spring break. This was a stressful, and unpleasant blemish on what should have been a fun and relaxing weekend. Instead of having Mojitos by the pool, we spent the first whole night schlepping bags around town, arguing with booking.com.At the very best, the Villas Las Olas Hotel ‘Apart is incompetent. If they had called us back or emailed us one of the 4 times we contacted them in the weeks prior, maybe they wouldn’t have cancelled our reservation. (I forgot to mention we had several gifts sent their from people that couldn’t attend, which we also never received.) If that is the case, their incompetence cost us money, stress, and valuable time on a short weekend trip. (They claim they had attempted to take payment, and for some reason, said it didn’t work. I saw no attempted transaction on my CC, and you would think if someone had a $4,000 reservation over a month in advance, it might warrant a phone call, which I am curious if they even have a phone) Even if Booking.com sucks and is a terrible partner, you never called me back once, and do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. I also see several other reviews claiming the same thing. At the worst, they realized they could cancel our contract and make more money booking with a non-discounted rate, and made up a story about my CC not working. If that is the case, this is a scummy and disgraceful establishment. Therefore, I cannot recommend The Villas Las Olas Hotel ‘Apart at all, or booking.com. If you want to roll the dice, with your vacation and possibly schlepp around your bags for several hours trying to find another place to stay, while sweating profusely in the South Florida humidity, while watching happy strangers drink Mojitos (who ostensibly stayed at reliable hotels) this might be the place for you! One of the worst, if not worst booking experiences I have ever had.
