The thrift store at St Ambrose Episcopal Church is amazing. Five rooms full of everything you need for yourself, kids, pets, and home. A lot of vintage finds are priced well below what I've seen at the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Open Saturdays from 9 to 12 pm only. A must!

This is a thrift store operated by the St. Episcopal Church located in the Riverland section of Ft. Lauderdale. It is open every Saturday from 9 until 12. Proceeds raised here benefit the church missions. For instance each week St. Ambrose puts on a spaghetti dinner to feed around 35 homeless persons at St. Nicholas Holy Grill. Church thrift stores are among my favorites for their low prices and this one is fantastic! There are four rooms filled with toys, furniture, appliances, clothes, accessories, home goods, and decorations. If you need some wall art this is the place to go. They have tons of inexpensive framed art work. I picked up a British castles china plate for only a $1. The staff couldn't be sweeter and even Father Gerard was on hand to help out. If you are in the area on a Saturday morning stop in and help out the church by donating your unwanted items. You may even find a treasure. Reduce, reuse, and recycle by thrifting for a healthier community and planet.
