i have say this is a down to earth home repair shop. The owner Mike was attentive and friendly. He listen to my issue i had with my 2015 VW Beetle convertible and repaired it on the spot. Great service ! Will recommend this repair shop to all my friends who need repair or replacement of interior seats or convertible tops. His pricing for repairs is fair and justified. Thank you !!!

Took car in to have the sun roof motor replaced and clean out the 4 drains. Went to pick up the car and the passenger floor pan was full of water. They checked and realised no one had actually fixed the issue apart from replace the motor. Now the car smells from the water damage.
Reply: So, due to the fact you replaced the motor but never cleared the drains now means the motor is compromised and will need replacing due to being wet. And to top it all off, the touch screen display has stopped working due to the water ingress.

I came all the way from West Palm Beach to southern auto trim and glass because the great ratings I heard from my mechanic and the great ratings on yelp, but I was left with a terrible taste in my mouth!! I wish I would've got the older gentleman's name because he was truly awful, rude, and disrespectful!! over the phone I was instructed to give the make model and Vin number for my vehicle, so that he could order the glass convertible top, the next day, I was called and told that I need to bring a deposit ASAP because he refused to work on my vehicle without having a deposit before hand. That was completely fine for me because a lot of businesses work like that But I was confused on why he sounded so upset and why he didn't tell me this during our prior interaction. anyway, a day later I come Down, drop my vehicle off at my mechanic, and then I get dropped off to Southern auto glass and trim to pay my deposit on which I'm told I need to bring the vehicle but I was confused because originally I was told all I needed. It was the make model and Vin number which I have already given to the person. I leave to get my car from the mechanic and I come back to pay the deposit And I guess I made the mistake on asking for an invoice to be emailed to me on which I was told they don't do emailed invoices, I will have to pick one up when my car was finished. OK no problem. Can I get a receipt and something in writing so that we're both on one page on my deposit being paid. He gets upset, slides my debit card across the table and told me to order the glass myself and find someone else to put it on because he doesn't want to do business like this. I was shocked and confused!! all I asked for was some type of security with a paper invoice or receipt just to ensure there isn't any issues later to come. So he refused service over me asking for and receipt and therefore I'm going to assume he was a cricket mechanic and maybe it is good that I took my business somewhere else.

So very pleased with the work I had done here. I had a problem with interior roof upholstery coming loose. Dealership wanted an obscene amount of money to fix it (this is the same dealership that left the cap off the oil tank last time the did my oil change, leaving a mess all over the engine, which we weren't aware of till someone noticed the flood under my car). Anyway, the dealership made the upholstery problem sound really complicated, but Mike diagnosed it and explained it to me in a really simple way and was able to fix it overnight for a small fraction of the estimate. He also turned me on to a really good cleaning product. Friendly, efficient, easy to work with, pleasant, and zero hustle. This will be my go-to place for any similar needs from now on.

Handled the issue I had with my car quickly and efficiently. Had a leak from my door drains they knew the issue when I explained it and quickly took care of it for a decent price.

My husband and I took a drive from Boynton Beach to Ft. Lauderdale to have a leak fixed from the back passenger side of the car, he knew exactly what was wrong with it, fixed it while we waited, and such a fair price!!!!!!!! We tried two places in Palm Beach county, that ripped us off totally, so it was a bit of a trip, but so well worth it!! Do yourself a favor, go see the pros here. Mike is amazing, and Joseph who helped him!! He told us he has been in business since 1969. He's the man!! Thank you Mike, for all your help, kindness, and honesty!!!

I recently had my convertible top replaced on my 2012 Chevy Camaro SS. There was a factory issue with the fifth row bar and the top leaking water into the trunk. Mike replaced the new 5th row support which was a difficult job. I could not be happier with the service and price! The convertible top looks like brand new and no more water leaks. I
