If you are a fan of mid century modern, this is your store. Mid-century modern refers to a design and architectural style that emerged in the mid-20th century, roughly from the 1930s to the 1960s. This design movement is characterized by a focus on clean lines, functionality, and a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. This design is also characterized by bold colors and geometric patterns with atomic age influence. Mid-century modern design has had a lasting influence on various aspects of art, architecture, furniture, and interior design. Mid-century modern design continues to be popular and influential today, with many contemporary designers drawing inspiration from its principles. The timeless and versatile nature of mid-century modern aesthetics has made it an enduring and widely appreciated design style. There is a whole neighborhood I enjoy visiting in Miami dedicate to mid century modern design. Once you know the style of design it is easy to spot it. I discovered Previewmod after attending a Yelp event that was held a few doors down. As soon as I came in I was greeted a friendly hello. I loved exploring the small but carefully curated store. They had so many interesting furniture pieces, art, home decor, and even clothing and jewelry. My favorite piece was a marshmallow sofa by Herman Miller in bright red from 1956. It was selling for $3,895 which seems quite expensive but mid century modern is very popular today. Like in all things it is always best to do your research before buying. I did like that they had a lot of things I had never seen before anywhere else and would be very much at home on the set of I Love Lucy. As a fan of history and architecture, this store was a fun discovery.

Really charming spot, where Niki & Stan will guide you into vintage art and decoration pieces...from paintings to furniture that have been collected meticulously by them in "hidden" markets all arround the world. Totally recoment to visit!!

I love this store! They have the most amazing mid century modern collection! Everything from lighting to wall art, sofas to vanity's, Every piece of furniture is art! Nicki & Stan are the sweetest and they have a wealth of knowledge in this field! I highly recommend paying a visit if you are searching for something special for your home! Just look at this amazing red chair Nicki just reupholstered and a few other pieces I just loved!

They have vintage DESIGNER clothing and accessories too! Furniture is very unique. Wide price range, so there’s really something for everyone. The store is very organized and clean. If you’re looking for something remarkable or rare this should be one of your stops.Stan and Nikki are very welcoming and helpful. They make your shopping experience easier and comfortable as well.
