I've been a patient for about 4 months at Physical Therapy Now on SE 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale; my initial diagnosis was for some balance related issues. My progress has been both significant and consistent; the licensed Therapists (especially Steven, Sara, Simone, and Juan) have pushed my progress to where I am no longer experiencing any balance issues at all!! I am now working on some knee pain, and again, i'm experiencing great progress. The facility is immaculately clean, and well maintained, and the entire staff (Amarylis, the Office Manager and Marc, the senior director of Therapy) are all amazing!!!I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for knowledgeable, kind, and understanding physical therapy help!DAN BARCZEWSKI

Samantha. Ask for Samantha. I was in debilitating shoulder pain - a radiating sore nerve - but within a few short visits, Samantha addressed my issue - of course I did my part. However, it was her attentiveness and care that I appreciated, all done with a special touch to speed-up the healing process that we usually do not get these days (e.g. massaging a cold, metal rolling ball on the injured area THEN explaining how to MAKE an iced ball gadget out of a styrofoam cup). She saved me time, frustration, headaches, but above all, pain. Again, ask for Samantha.

Last December during Christmas Season 2021, I injured my right shoulder, resulting in loss of movement of the right arm. I couldn't make a rotation movement with it. I couldn't even get up of my bed unless I used my left arm to help. The pain due to this injury was between 5 - 6 in a table of 10 (max level). Very uncomfortable to manage. So, I went to see my Sport Medicine physician, Dr. Ricardo Vasquez Duarte. His diagnostic was "Right Rotator Cuff injury". His prescription was 4-6 weeks of physical therapies at PHYSICAL THERAPY NOW. He wanted to followed up in 4 weeks to see my progress. Right after my doctor visit, I called the rehab office and Amarilys professionally set up my first therapy/evaluation appointment. After she heard my urgent call, she moved her schedules to see me the following day. I felt very pleased with her action. The following day, I went to the facility and walked to the reception desk where I met Amarilys. She was charming, courteous and professional handling all the required documentation to start my treatment. After couple minutes, Mark a Physical Therapist showed up and asked me to follow him to his work station to perform a physical evaluation. I was already impressed with the professionalisms of the staff members and the well-organized, clean facility. Mark clearly explained to me with visual aid the group of muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint, keeping the head of my upper right arm bone firmly within the shallow socket of the shoulder. He also advised me that this type of injury can cause a dull ache in my shoulder, which often worsens with use of the arm away from the body. His information, patience and techniques proofed his understanding of my injury, so this activates my trust in the rehabilitation process with them. I got the opportunity to meet another excellent Physical Therapist Rodney and Sabrina. Rodney was very charming and friendly. Every time, I walked in the rehab office for my appointments, he welcomes me with a warm greeting which incentives my mind to keep going. Both of them, were committed to help me to reach my goal. "GET BETTER NOW". He trained me with effective exercises which initiate my muscles activities. It was sore of painful but requires to gain back my independency. Toward the completion of every therapy session, Sabrina prepared a cold or warm ending which alleviate the pain caused by the injury and the healing process. At the end of the 4th week, Mark did another evaluation on my rehabilitation process as it was requested by Dr. Vasquez Duarte. Mark noticed my improvement with their techniques. So, it was time to see my doctor. Dr. Vasquez Duarte was very happy to notice that I had improved tremendously and recommended me to start the gym work out and practice all the techniques I have learn from PHYSICAL THERAPY NOW. I did it in 4 weeks. Wasn't amazing! I'm very satisfied with the help and support I received from this rehabilitation facility. Thanks, Amarilys, Marc, Rodney and Sabrina. I could not make it without you.

I found the entire staff a great pleasure to work with! While it's not fun to have to address a sometimes painful therapy - the environment was always professional yet friendly and patient. Easy timeframes to get an appt. and felt I got the best help possible! Thank you!

I have been bringing my mom since she fractured her upper humerus, can not ask for a more knowledgeable, professional and caring staff, therapist Rodney Garcia, tech Juliette, administrator Amarilys and director Jason. My mom is 86 years young and i thought her arm would not heal as well as it has! I would definitely recommend this establishment 100%.

I was referred to PTNow thru workmens comp. I was very nervous due too horror stories I have heard from people how bad it could be. I let them know I was nervous and was not comfortable being touched. They were very patient and respected my feelings. They were personable, friendly and caring. I didn't dread going and the visit was very homey. They were very organized and on top of things. Within 12 sessions they had me in shape even better than I was before I fell. I will recommend them to anyone.

This is the best Physical Therapy place in town. Great professionals, they treat you like family. Before my first session; I couldn't even walk,,3 months later I am walking perfectly. Most Doctors advised me that if i didn't get back surgery , in 10 years time I would end up in a wheelchair. Physical Therapy now saved me from all that. Forever grateful . John Smith

Last October I sustained an ankle injury after partaking in a fitness event. Originally when this occurred, I went to urgent care and was told to use the R.I.C.E. method for a couple of weeks, a month tops. When the month passed and I still felt pain, I followed up with the podiatrist. At this point, I was told to give it a couple of more weeks to heal, and if not, to find a physical therapist. See, I had injured this same ankle previously a few years back. Anyway, I had a mini getaway, returned, and looked for a physical therapist. I ideally wanted one close to work, and well, that's how I settled on Physical Therapy Now. Amarilys heads the front desk and she is a total rockstar. Pleasant, organized, and always with a smile, she's your girl for anything dealing with insurance. A note to those with insurance - a lot of insurances are changing their stances with physical therapy. I had been prescribed twelve sessions, three times a week for four weeks, and well, my sessions were divided. My first set was five sessions, my second set was seven sessions. In between these sessions, my insurance required paperwork, and given this coinciding with the holidays, it took a bit to get that sorted, but once it was, I was back at it. Originally my physical therapist was Nathaniel mainly, although I think once Mark attended me. Both are very funny gentlemen, always cracking jokes as if to help you forget about the pain you're facing as you do some of the exercises. When I returned coming in right after the new year, my physical therapist was Ailsa. Ailsa is a real sweetheart. She always made me feel comfortable, even though sometimes the exercises she gave me were quite literally a pain. I guess that's part of the process though. I've been through this before, and it's never easy, but once you see improvement, it makes everything worthwhile. Physical therapy, in general, isn't fun. You struggle to regain some semblance of normalcy. Still, if you must do it, I highly recommend this place and its staff if you're in the Fort Lauderdale area. I hope to not have to use them again (as I'm pending a check-up with my podiatrist), but if I do, I won't complain. They go above and beyond expectations to make sure you get well.

I highly recommend Physical Therapy Now in Fort Lauderdale. Amarilys is super nice, very professional, and was extremely accommodating with my schedule. She was nice enough to reserve the times I needed for all 18 of my appointments from the first day I walked in. I had partial tears in my right ankle and sprained acl in my right knee. Mark and Nat knew exactly how to get me back into normal sneakers again after being in a walking boot for 5 weeks. They took the time to analyze my body’s strengths and weaknesses to push me to the appropriate limit each week so I could heal as quickly and as close to 100% as possible. Mark and Nat both have a great sense of humor and truly made it an enjoyable experience going to each session. I actually looked forward to going to each session because of how much improvement I felt each week thanks to them. They both never rushed me in and out of there. They always said hi and asked how I was feeling each session and always said bye before I would leave. They truly care for their patients and are willing to take the extra time needed to make sure you are on the right track to getting healthy again. It is important to remember the therapy does not stop at the sessions. You need to do your part and put in the extra time and effort at home as well to see continuous improvement. Mark and Nat were able to help me avoid surgery and help me get back to chasing my 2 year old around the house. I am forever grateful I chose Physical Therapy Now in Fort Lauderdale over the long list of other options. I truly recommend putting your trust in Amarilys, Mark, and Nat’s hands for the positive results you are looking for.
