just outstanding service, completely took care of all my small business needs.. will definitely be my "go to" UPS store from here on out! (don't waste your time at UPS on E17th/hwy1), was awful!!!

I had a pair of cushions that I needed to return to Amazon. After I got all the details to Amazon, they sent me a QR code for the return at any UPS store. I saw the email said to pack it in a box but since the cushions came vacuum packed, the cushions would not had fit the original box, so I said, I'll chance it.... I went to the UPS store and the clerk said to me, you have to pack it before shipping it....or....we can sell you the box..... I said, OK, how much would it be? The cushions were about 20" x 20" x 6" ....the guy took measurements and told me....$17. I said What ?????!!??? $17 for a cardboard box ????? No way. I said, I will find a box and I will come back...... I continued my errands and I went to get some produce at Monterrey Farmer's market. I saw Edwin, the owner and I asked him if he had any spare empty boxes he could give me...he said sure.... He got me a nice big box that was perfect for the cushions. I went back to the UPS store and got my cushions shipped back to Amazon... Can you believe $17 for a cardboard BOX !!?????????

Location is extremely convenient. This is near where I work and given that I'm usually at the office, it has happened once in awhile that I've had to reroute a package there. That and because my job sometimes uses UPS, I've had to drop off packages there as well. Oh, and then there's the one time I went to pick up mail from a P.O. box a girlfriend of mine closed out given her moving. All these experiences have always been short and sweet. Employees genuinely are helpful and friendly.

They know that customers can't get a internet connection in there store in order to print shipping labels and have to walk in the middle of the street for a connection and they refuse to correct the problem.

UPDATE - it appears that out of three packages i recently shipped, not only did the 2 I shipped from this location take substantially longer to arrive, the contents are apparently missing. This resulted in an investigation which so far appears to indicate how this location functions: they seem to undercalibrate the scale. A package with virtually identical contents shipped here shows a weight of 0.75 lb vs 6 lb+ at the other UPS store. My mistake for not double checking at the time of shipment. It seems I can't in good faith recommend this location at this time for shipments of any return merchandise when the customer may be in a hurry and doesn't verify the weight on the shipping receipt. I will update when I find out more. Hopefully they can fix the problem. No street parking upfront. Very practical location for downtown business but what good is that in light of my recent experience?

I haven't been here since they switched franchisees but, while the new owners made it more drab, corporate, and sterile looking, their customer service associate, Jean, is great. Always greets you nicely, is professional, helpful, and quick! That is all I can ask for at a UPS store! Make sure you keep him!

Man working behind the counter wearing a large gold ring is so efficient and fast. He is handling the entire floor by himself and getting everyone out the door as quick as possible. Thank you for all your hard work!

Bad service Staff was stuck up and rude was told I couldn’t drop a package off went to the UPS store a few miles down the road and they gladly excepted the same package stay away from this location if you can

Jean is AMAZING! Goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! Called yesterday to inform them the person who found my passport had shipped it with the wrong name. He said he'd make a notation of it but you know how that goes. Well, I called today and not only did he remember our mailbox number but I forgot to leave my number so he went thru all the numbers on caller i.d. to inform me it had arrived. Don't see that kind of customer service here in Florida. Jean is a great asset to this place.

I just moved to Fort Lauderdale and recently opened a business. I found this The UPS Store right downtown. Their store rents mailboxes with a prestigious Las Olas Blvd street address. It’s not a PO Box, it an actual 401 E Las Olas Blvd address. After renting my mailbox, my business is now officially on Las Olas Blvd. Another nice things is, they can also take care of all my shipping and print needs. I already ordered business cards. Oh and I forgot, I have 24 hour access.

What a useless place. I have no idea on the strategy that UPS has with these stores, but a very unfriendly environment, poor service and uneducated people. If your looking for bad customer service and zero commitment to customer service, this is your place.
