A lot of trainers make fantastic claims, but none perform like Lerner andPooch. Roman’s years of experience enable him to identify what needs to be done to make your puppy the pet you want. The hardest part is often “training the owner” and Roman’s understanding and commitment to getting this done is second to none. I highly recommend that you hire this trainer!

My family and our Pomeranian Rufus can not thank Roman at Lerner and Pooch enough. It wasn’t always easy but after six in person sessions and a few months of following the rules set out by Roman and his team we are all doing amazing. If you have a small breed dog this is where to go for all your training needs!!

After going to multiple trainers (and spending insane amounts of money), reading training book after training book we were ready to give up hope on our Frenchie. After going through the Lerner and Pooch program everything changed! Highly recommend!

After having the “perfect dog” for 16 years (we lost him this past year), we had concerns about bringing a new puppy into the house. First, this little guy was a rescue and probably had a less than optimal first few weeks. Next, and full disclosure, we love dogs and our inclination to spoil this little guy came naturally!!!It didn’t take long to see that our good intentions allowed our puppy to quickly become as Roman might describe it, the “CEO” of our house, a little too bossy, demanding with the occasional puppy bite and a fair share of potty breaks on his terms.This behavior did not fit with our plans for our new family member and hopefully traveling companion.We reached out to Lerner and Pooch as the experts in small dog training. Roman responded immediately, scheduled an introduction (we appreciated that this was a 2 way commitment), and subsequently scheduled our sessions.I am happy to report that week over week we have seen progress that “sticks” and a tangible difference in not only how our puppy behaves, but how we interact with him making all our “lives” manageable and our interactions with our puppy much more predictable.We are now the CEO’s (as it should be) and our little guy is much more playing his part in our family.No more biting, potty mishaps and tantrums.It takes time, but we can attest that Roman has been there even with after hour calls for advise!!!We highly recommend Lerner and Pooch, Roman is a real content expert!!!

5 star experience! From the products, to the training to the line of communication. Roman is excellent at what he does and made this experience seamless. I’d recommend this training to any new or even old dog owners. We have a 4 month old Corgi and a 15 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix and he worked wonders on them both within 3 sessions! Whoever said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks never met Roman.

Thank you Roman for training my puppy! My Cavapoo has learned so much proper dog training! My puppy at 4 months was able to “sit” and “come” on command in one week. There is no other dog trainer as good as Lerner & Pooch in South Florida!

Roman is the best dog trainer! So attentive and reliable: always on time, willing to help at any time or day, and left notes for the future which helped tremendously. He helped me control my puppy and teach him to listen to me. I would highly recommend people to him for any type of training you need!

So incredibly THANKFUL for Roman with Lerner and Pooch small dog training! My little Oreo was being a complete handful and a brat biting, barking and demanding constant attention. I sent him to a board and train and he came back with a can with change. Oreo would cringe and hide when I would say the commands. I knew I needed another approach. Roman showed up early/on time, professionally and with booties. He said you and Oreo are not going to like me at first but will appreciate it later. We created structure and showing him that I am in charge. Oreo has come such a far way and Roman made it all possible! Another awesome thing that I liked is Roman brought things like a proper collar, crate, and treats. Having Roman come to my home worked really well and way more effective then the YouTube videos I was trying to do. I have already referred Roman to my friends and highly recommend him!

Could not have asked for a better trainer than Roman. I rescued my 2 year old dog Spike without knowing his background and Roman helped me to understand the steps to take to make him successful in training. After a few months he’s a completely different dog! Roman is responsive and will go above and beyond to insure success. Would recommend highly.

I have a 7 year old Yorkie that I adopted a year ago. I was desperate for training but felt hopefulness because of his age and my experience with other training programs in the past. When I rescued him he wasn’t potty trained, would mark throughout the house, pulled so hard on the leash that he would gag, would attack other dogs, ran away on several occasions, and just plain didn’t listen to me. After just a few sessions he was already a completely different dog. We just had our final session and it’s amazing how much calmer and happier he seems. On top of that, he respects and listens to me now, and walks by my side rather than pulling- we even have him doing tricks! Roman makes himself available every step of the way, even when I needed a last minute refresher session he showed up just hours later. I’d give Roman and his training program 10 stars if I could!

Roman is a dream to work with. He is prompt, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. He gave us a lot of key points and taught us how to interact with our dear puppy, Jack, a Havanese. As much as we thought we knew about having a dog, Roman taught us about dog behavior and how to be pack leader. His lessons are to the point, easy to learn and incredibly valuable to have with you for a long life with your pooch!! Thank you Roman!!

I have a frenchie and he jumped on everyone and pulled my arm off every time we went outside. It was really exhausting physically and emotionally so my husband and I searched high and low and after watching the videos online we hired Roman at Lerner and Pooch. In hindsight I can't belive we put up with the issues for so long. They where great at opening up our minds to what is going on inside our dogs mind and how to change that. It was really unbelievable, and we owe a great debt of gratitude!
