DON'T Rent here if you are black or Hispanic the new manager John is a racist white man very unprofessional yelling at the customers the room needs updating mold all over the bathroom walls even on the picture hanging on the walls theirs no food for the guests but for everyone from the streets junkie and street walks it's not safe at night the front desk lady is always sleeping at night and at night all the drinks and drug addicts have fake keys trying to open your door thank God we bought our dog with us cause God knows what could have happened to us the housekeeping are more polite and helpful than the managers stay away from this hotel you will appreciate the advice ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️Safety: It's not safe starting with the management very racist

If I could give 0 stars I would. We booked this room about a week from our trip using reward points. We drive 11 hours to get there and arrive with our 3 children at 1am to be told they have no vacancy and cancelled our reservation. The front desk employee had ZERO care or sympathy whatsoever and offered no kindness or help. We spent another hour calling every hotel in the area and around. We could only go so far as we were leaving for a cruise the next morning. We then had to come out of pocket $230 on the spot for another room because it was 1am and no one from our rewards was open to talk to. Thank God the LAST hotel on the list came through because our next option was to park at a well lit/known gas station and taking turns staying awake while the children slept in the car.

From September 30th to October 6th, my family and I stayed at La Quinta Inn in Tamarac, Fort Lauderdale. It has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I cannot understand how the Wyndham chain can allow such hotels to exist in such conditions. Throughout our entire stay, our room was only cleaned once, and that was because I had to personally inform the cleaning staff. We didn't even receive clean towels. The hallway was consistently dirty. The front desk service was abysmal - they never answered the phone and were rarely present. Overall, this is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I come from a relatively poor country compared to the United States. The breakfast options were extremely basic, and once they ran out of items, they never restocked. The person serving was extremely rude. On the first night, the TV in our room wasn't working, and when I reported it to the front desk, they said the only solution was to move us to another room because they didn't have a technician available. Before switching rooms, we checked the alternative room, but we quickly fled as the small refrigerator emitted a nauseating smell. We decided to stay in the initially assigned room, and my husband had to fix the TV himself. If we hadn't already been charged for the nights, we would have changed hotels regardless of the additional cost. This has been the worst hotel experience ever.

Yeah this place here is terrible the lady who does breakfast is extremely rude. The food wasn’t even slightly warm. She clearly has no care for this. She was asleep in the dining area. Honestly should be fired. The place is dirty stains all on bed. Wi-Fi is terrible always cutting in and out same with the tv. Honestly back to the breakfast lady she just pisses me off and when she walks by me she side eyes me like I’m the one causing her trouble. It really seems that most of the staff is just here for a paycheck which I can understand. It would simply be nice for them to have a bit of care for what they do

Absolutely the worst LA Quinta I've ever stayed at!! The hotel manager has no knowledge of the computer system or payment methods. The hotel charges your card weeks after leaving it, the pool is always neon green from not be properly maintained, the rooms have roaches and half of the a/c units leak all over the carpet for days at a time... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This hotel clearly doesn’t care about how their rooms or hotel looks. Paint was peeling on all of the walls and doors in the hotel. Our first room had a moldy smell is was just disgusting all around. I called the front desk and asked to be moved. The next room was a little better, no smell but the bathroom was dirty, the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, there were no towels or wash cloths. The room had bad plumbing and you had to hold the toilet handle down for 1 minute for it to barely try to flush, and sometimes it still wouldn’t. Also the lamp next to the desk didn’t work at all, bulb was bad. I didn’t want to be that person so I just stayed in the room. But refused to get in the tub my entire trip. Also I’m order to get your room cleaned, you have to Request it a day in advanced. I requested the bathroom be recleaned and the toilet to be fixed, they came sort of cleaned the bathroom and put a snake down the toilet and just left without saying anything. Honestly this hotel cares more about getting their money than the up keep of their hotel, I would not stay with them again or recommend to anyone.

So let me start off by saying i planned to stay here from NJ for 6 days due to me recovering from procedure i had done in FL and it was a local hotel with not to bad of pricing.Straight to the point, there is nothing nice with this hotel. It’s very dirty, it smells so bad, the breakfast is horrible. This whole place is so unsanitary. I didn’t even know it had a pool behind the hotel, which was greener than grass.On day 4 of my stay here we saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom and a HUGE cockroach crawled onto the bed as me and my husband were laying down. I informed the front desk and he said I’d have to wait for the manager to come into work tomorrow morning and there’s really nothing he could do besides move me and give me a credit of a one day stay.I then stated to the receptionist that i want to cancel my stay and i will not be moving to a different room because of me seeing that cockroach means they could be everywhere in that hotel.Next morning comes, i call the manager Derik and i explained to him what the situation was and his response was “you only saw one cockroach?” Like as if it’s okay. He asked me if i knew if any pest control came in while i was leaving. Like was i suppose to let them spray the room with pesticides for cockroaches and wait??? I wanted a refund or at least half of my money comped due to this horrible experience and he denied me a refund and stated he’d give me only one day refund since i checked out early. Such horrible customer service from a “manager”. I guess he’s okay with the way the hotel is running.This is such an unhealthy unsanitary hotel.I definitely do not recommend anyone to stay here no matter how cheap the price might’ve be.Not to mention the people who stay here just all look dirty and legit walk around barefoot all over the hotel.

I reserved a room for 3 nights. Checked into my room at around 7pm. I never write reviews because I know that not all hotels are 100 percent perfect. But I had to write this one. Room smell musty like it was wet a never dry up, shower floor was dirty, shower curtain were backwards, found 2 roaches in 2 days, kids being un supervise and were running around and yelling until 11 pm. And to top it off my tv wasn’t working, I couldn’t change the channel in which I notified the front desk clerk and he stated they are having issues with the cable service. Breakfast was ok just for the 2nd day apple juice was not cold. Also there was only 1 ice machine working and it was on the 3rd floor. I would not stay at this hotel again. 1 to 10 I give it a 3. Came in town for Rolling Loud weekend the elevator was extremely slow and the room was disgusting. At first entry a maintenance man was in there, exchanging out the air conditioners and the air conditioner he put in there was not working. It was extremely hot in the room just as it was outside there was some type of nasty white, sticky substance all over the floor and the chair in the room has some brown disgusting stuff stuck on it. I had to call another hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale to get another one and I am so glad I did.Rooms: Disgusting

I had a wonderful time great service the general manager Derek is very friendly helpful and pleasant person the housekeeping also very helpful kind and friendly the customer service Billy and especially Jay he is an amazing man really goes out of his way to help the customer feel at home great attitude and personality very clean the breakfast area has unlimited food of all kind fruit, juice, waffle, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins I highly recommend thank you for a wonderful blessed stay?

We booked a room for 5 people, we received only one that fits 4. On telling the managers, they told me that I am accusing them as liars. They wanted us to sleep on the floor. I told them that it is not fair to tell guests to sleep on the floor. They shouted at me that I could buy a mattress if I don’t want to sleep on the floor. Also, the one manager offered me discount for the first out of five nights. In the end, they charged us something extra so that we didn’t get any discount at all. I am still trying to reach out but now they tell us that they do not have a manager. It is unacceptable how we were treated here.

I'm so disappointed; I should have read the reviews before I booked this hotel. Lesson learned.2 of Ft. Lauderdale's Finest pulled up, just as my son & I parked the rental. Should've told me something right away.Got to the front desk, was told that my reserved room with 2 double beds wasn't available, only a king. Maid service wasn't available d/t COVID. Pool wasn't operational. Walked into the room & it smelled like dog. Sheets were stained. Bed was super-hard. No wonder the pricing was relatively cheap. Do not recommend.
