Beware!!! I called days in advance to schedule an appointment for my USCG medical. I’m very busy as I captain and manage and large motor yacht.. The receptionist scheduled me and told me she would send me a link to make a deposit to hold appointment. I never received any communication from the company. They claim they have proof that they sent message but I certainly received nothing. As a result, test day came and they had cancelled my appointment and could not do anything to assist me.. this has really screwed me over. The company never tried to contact me to say they were cancelling my appointment or anything of the sort. Unprofessional. Should revisit their “system”

I came here awhile back and was pleased with the prompt service so I came back again despite the long drive it takes me. The second visit was not good at all. The receptionist seems like there is someplace else she would rather be. I needed my USCG exam and she asked if I want to include a drug screening to which I responded isn’t that required every time with the USCG and she just shrugged I don’t know and then advised me that I don’t get it today but if I need it later I should reschedule and come back. I told her I cannot come back and will go ahead and do it today then I was surprised to find out this was an additional $95 fee. Now the USCG exam here is costing me $245 yet in Miami where I had just drove from it is advertised online for just $150. But wait… it gets worse! That was on Monday and I was told I would have my certificate in three days it is now Saturday and despite calling three times on Friday and being told on the phone it was on its way today plus leaving voicemail later that after and I still have not received my certificate.

This place is a joke. The front desk attendant is very rude. I left my certificate in the lobby when I left. They charge $65 to print a new one. It’s a piece of paper that I already paid $160 for in the first place…… Go see Dr. Greer in West Palm beach instead. More friendly and seems to actually care about your health, not just the money.

I failed the eyesight portion of the ENG1, so had to go and get a pair of glasses to fulfill the requirements and get the certificate (which I did). No issue with that whatsoever, MCA requirements are MCA requirements. What I do have issue with, is being told that I had failed in the middle of the corridor in front of two other staff members, and three people in the waiting room. Mortifying, and completely unecessary. Whilst the door to the waiting room was closed, the door to reception was not, meaning that all could be heard in the waiting room. Absolutely no concept of patient confidentiality. Dr Grenet also lacks basic interpersonal skills, and made the whole process unecessarily unpleasant.Response to the owner's response:The door from the corridor to reception was open, and therefore open to the waiting room, so the waiting room door being closed is a mute point; the idea that there was privacy from other patients is risible. As is your claim of "Respectfully explained".
