I recently purchased a car at Volkswagen Fort Lauderdale, and it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the service was unacceptable.
The salesperson, Mario Blanco, displayed a complete disregard for my comfort and safety. He made me transfer my belongings from my old car to the new one on an open patio in the middle of a heavy rainstorm. The cars weren’t even positioned close together, making the process unnecessarily difficult, and I nearly slipped because of my wet, slippery shoes. He was mindful, however, to take me in my car to the other building to pay for the closing fees at the financial department, but that was all.
Once I got home, I realized the car hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was covered in glue on the outside, including the windows and exterior parts, from tapes and other materials. The heavy rain made it impossible to notice these issues at the dealership, but it was glaringly obvious once I was home. To add to the frustration, when it came time to transfer the parking stickers from my old car to the new one, I was handed the stickers to apply myself. This was unlike my previous experiences at other dealerships, where this task was handled seamlessly. The dirty condition of the car’s windshield made this task even more challenging.
To make matters worse, this is not my first disappointing experience at this dealership. After having the 20,000-mile maintenance done at this location, my windshield ended up broken. This speaks to a consistent lack of care and attention to detail at Volkswagen Fort Lauderdale.
Overall, this experience was not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing. It’s clear that customer care and vehicle preparation are not priorities at this dealership. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Brandon rocks must have stepped his game up i guess all the training that he got from the Gunter training to maintenance team worked out this a service was exceptionally fast and professionally done very pleased if i have to Rate Brandon i would give him 10 stars and he didn't pay me to say that loyal customer Andrea Lendor

Jeffrey was great, he took the time to thoroughly explain the necessary details and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. He even pointed out something about my car that I didn’t know in the two years I’ve owned it.

Absolutely the worst dealer service department Ive ever dealt with. Had my car in for the 4th time to fix a defective lane assist. After 10 days i was told it was all fixed despite doing nothing to the car. After two days problem started yet again.

Went there for a recall for the fuel injector for my VW gti. They check the entire vehicle I was told nothing else for my vehicle besides a potential oil leak which I will get fixed somewhere else. The next day my fuel gauge is out of whack after refueling my tank fully. I go back and was told I needed a new fuel pump and nobody has told me anything the days before when I was there the first time. No transparency. No shame in lying to my face and withholding information by jeff and screw over a veteran. He Told me the mechanic didn’t tell him anything, I was told by another member that the mechanic did In fact tell him about the issue now I have multiple people lying about the situation. Will not go back to this dealership for anything. I Should've known better, lost my business.

Salesperson was great. There were some issues with the car. I bought a black golf r, which I love. The piano black trim was slightly chipped inside, but it’s a brand-new car so I want to get this fixed. And more importantly, the car was still in inventory mode when I picked it up so it’s been off-line for the last 20 days picked it up a few days ago. So it means I can’t properly connect to the Volkswagen app and use all the really important features that has to offer. Once I have the issues resolved with the car, I’ll update this to 5 star reviews. It was a really nice dealership and the people were very professional.
