just had the smoothest car buying experience. After shopping for six months and being totally annoyed at sales people, I decided to go back to Mazda, as I had a good experience with a Miata back in the day. I was thrilled with the choices and upgrades, and ended up with a CX50. The sales experience couldn't have been more pleasant. They actually let me do half the paperwork, leave and come back. literally, in the past, I felt like I've been kept captive in a dealership. Sabrina K was my sales person and she was a delight. she took care of everything and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and no pressure!interestingly, I met a few people there who have worked for Gunther Mazda for years. Wow -- does that say something about this organization? Not very typical in this industry. Anyway, I feel like I got a great deal, a great car and had a great experience.

Very deceiving Service Manager and Assistant Manager. I go in for an oil change and I am assisted by Service Department Assistant Manager last name Huerta. He asks me if there's anything else wrong with the car? I tell him my screen display randomly changes screens on its own. He says that's a common problem with these vehicles. He says they have a kit where its like some sort of compound they put in there to create separation of the outer display screen and the inner screen, he explained. He said, don't worry I'm sure i can get Mazda to cover it and gives me a wink and a thumbs up. So after a couple of hours i get called in to sign the paperwork because my car is ready. I look at the paperwork and all i see is an oil change. I go to Mr. Huerta's desk and say that there's no mention about the display screen being repaired. His response was, Well they're in Cali time so I'll tell you what take my card and call me tomorrow. That's it he just dismissed me like that and his answer to everything was that Mazda is on Cali time which I didn't understand since the times I was there it was after 9 am Pacific time. So I called him the next day and he tells me they will cover but i will have to pay $70.00 for labor. I felt taken advantage of. Why tell me its a common problem with these cars and then assure me with a thumbs up and a wink that he is sure he will get them to cover it. I then get an email from the dealer asking me how my experience was and I explained this situation. I then getca call fro Mr. Huerta asking me why i put a bad review after he thought we were cool, he says. I explained to him how i felt like he played me. He said that because i leave bad reviews there are certain times where management gets together and reviews the situation and decides if it's worth losing you as a customer or covering a job and in this case we decided it's best to not cover the job. I was pretty shocked by that statement. Coming from a big dealership like this. Beware when dealing with this service department. The service manager Mike also was up set about the bad review. If the deception starts with the Manager and Assistant Manager, who can you really trust with your vehicle. Don't be fooled by the smiles, winks and thumbs up...So as everyone can see the dealer replied to my review saying they want to address my issue but yet they haven't called me or emailed me or anything. So how can they address my concern with my display? They just type things saying how much they care but there's no follow up by them. It's so that people think that they are wanting to help but yet they don't reach out so don't be fooled by that either. If you read their response, it's like general statements nothing concrete. In other words they just say things but there's no action behind it. I am not surprised that they didn't reach out. It's so sad this whole thing. I can't believe a dealer of this size and stature lowered their standards to the equivalent of a buy here pay here small corner car sales lot..... UPDATE ON MY REVIEW.... So it is now July 11th and nobody has called me or text me or emailed me about addressing my concerns regarding my display as they so nicely put it in their reply yet nobody has reached out. Also, i wanted to remind everyone that the Assistant Service manager had told me that the display screen is a common issue with these cats... if so then it should be a recall or something. In any case he says the reason why the display screen randomly changes screens is due to the heat and the inner screen makes contact with the outer screen so they have a kit where they apply like a compound between the two to cause separation. Well i drive my car at nights plenty and have the a/c on 65 degrees inside my car and it still happens so I don't believe that either. And he tells me that kit costs $700. Daniel was my sales representative. Hands down the nicest guy! From beginning to end he and Mike worked an awesome deal for me. They truly made me feel like family. I couldn't be more happy with my car. They have customers for life!

My husband and I had an amazing experience leasing a CX-50 at Gunther Mazda. Our salesman, Nick A. was fantastic! He really worked with us to get us the trim we wanted at a price we were happy with. Best part is, Nick made the whole process so stress free and efficient, we were in an out within 2.5 hours including the test drive and didn’t have to waste the whole day haggling. I definitely recommend getting a car here.

This was my first time purchasing my own car so I definitely had some apprehensions, however Nick from Gunther Mazda put me at ease and walked me through the process. I was lucky to have gotten to work with Nick and this dealership, I feel like I got my car for a fair price. There was small issue with the paint job at the end and the manager helped resolve it in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this place!

RON AND TERI are the most amazing service representatives that I have ever met. They go above and beyond for the customer and always have a smile on their face. I truly only see Gunther Mazda for all my car service needs. My whole family goes to them too and they leave satisfied everytime. Thank you to you both for always helping us. To management, these two team members deserve a raise and recognition for their hard work!

I brought my car to Gunther Mazda for service. They did fix the biggest problem (dead battery) and got it covered under the warranty. Unfortunately, there was virtually no communication through the entire process.Most of the time, I couldn't even get through to the service desk. When I did, I could not reach the advisor. I left him a message which was ignored. I also left a message for the head of the service department; this, too, was ignored. They didn't even bother to tell me when my car was ready.They will fix your car, if you feel like calling over and over each day to find out what's going on. But if you value communication, I'd recommend taking your car somewhere else.

My visit today was a first at Gunther Mazda. I had a nail in my tire and K was able to fit me in the next morning at 7:30 am. She was so pleasant and courteous. Got there and the young man that came out ( don’t remember his name) greeted me with a smile. He went on to explain what was going to take place. When car was ready went to pay for the service and the cashiers were both pleasant.and friendly. Customer Service from everyone I dealt with was top notch. Extremely impressed.

They have always been very supportive of making me understand what they are going to do and why that needs to be done. I love the fact that they share a detailed video of all the inspections which makes me feel content that they actually check everything. Overall I would say the price for the service is competitive, reasonable but not cheap. Getting appointments can be lengthy so call before hand.

Under warranty, we turned to this Mazda dealership, because. a week later, problems started with our car: smoke started and when switching speed, the car began to be thrown from side to side, twitching, the checks of the engine, anti-skid, abs, hand brake caught fire. I made an appointment at 7.30 am to this center and were there just in time for the opening. However, my young son and I waited 3 hours before someone was able to respond and approach us, despite the fact that during all this time other cars arrived and the service was out of turn. Finally, a manager named Erickson took my car and said that he would definitely identify the problem and fix it. However, almost 4 weeks passed and all this time this manager assured me that everything was in order with the car, they say he found the problem and fixed it. And when I came to pick up the car, they took $190 from me, and this despite the fact that the car was under warranty!!! When I asked what happened to her, the manager said that there was a computer failure and it was just necessary to remove the processes that were hanging in the system.She took the car, but after driving about 20 miles on it, a week later the situation repeats itself, the car starts tossing from side to side, the same checks lit up and we almost became the culprits of the accident, and my son almost knocked out his teeth when the car began to be thrown from side to side. side!!!!They brought the car to your center again, and again they deceived us by saying that the next day the car would be serviceable, but no one was repairing the car, the manager did not answer phone calls. this time she is standing and co-workers do not answer any calls and messages.in a word, nothing has been done, the car is standingmy husband is a blogger, he will definitely post a video about your service on his channel!!! We will make you an advertisement, guys, about your disgusting service!I won't pay for work not done. I am currently discussing with a lawyer about filing a lawsuit against your unprofessional service due to the unprofessional work of an employee. Either you solve the issue of car repair and compensate us for all expenses, or we will sue you and recover in full all the suffering that we suffered while serving in your disgusting company.

First, many many thanks to Anthony Huerta, who is the best Mazda representative in what I am sure is a field of strong contenders. Mazda continues to impress me three years after I switched to this elegant and high quality brand. I never mind going to the Gunther Mazda dealership because it is so comfortable and inviting. There are two coffee bars and a refrigerator with water on offer. Of course, the cars are the main attraction, and the showroom presents the latest models in their beauty and glory. All of the salesmen and women are friendly and answer questions without pressuring me into a new car I am not ready to buy--yet! I will definitely be a Gunther Mazda customer again when I am ready to upgrade to a CX-30 in a few years. But till then, I will see Anthony and the rest of the team for my scheduled maintenance. Sweet ride, always!

Standard 5k service, with appointment, over 3 hrs wait. Really need to find a way to manage standard service with appointments better. The other car dealerships I go to do this within +/- 15min of 1hr. I'm 45 min away so not easy to reschedule once there. Don't like they suggested tire rotation at 5k miles. Did not need at all there was almost zero wear. Something they might have forgot to do and charged me for and I'd have not known. There were no updates during those 3 hrs. Like "getting to your car soon", "one hour more, sorry for the wait", etc. There was a video send 2.5 hrs in showing the tires had 8/32 on them. thanks. Can't wait to go back for the 10k, they set a low bar so hopefully gets better.

Julian the salesman was amazing. Went straight to the point showing me the best options for me, pulled the car up in a timely manner. Great salesman, great personality. He went against traditional sales tactics and showed me another car as we were about to make a deal on one. Guy was really looking out for me and my interests and i really appreciate that. Almost walked out empty handed but the sales manager wanted to make a deal happen so he sat us down and we got it done. Great team there overall, and credit to Julian for helping me out
