Buyers beware! Nasty people. Don't believe any 5 star reviews for this nasty mover. Worst business I've ever seen!!! After more than 3 years, the claim department does not even respond. Don't let all the five stars fool you; you never know who gave them the five stars and why! They are a bunch of liars; I hated dealing with these people. They come to your place with lots of promises but won't fulfill any of them. AFTER they load your belongings in their truck, they want you to sign numerous pages of documents with lots of fine prints; at that point you are stuck! You won't have any options but to sign them. Otherwise, they unload your belonging right outside your place and leave. Moreover, in my case when they picked up my items, all they were responsible for was 60 cent per pound; that is, when they pick up your belongings all they have to pay you in case your belongings get lost or ruined is 60 cents per pound! And when after a long time they bring your stuff at your destination, they won't unload until you pay the other half of the payment. Then they unloaded my broken, damaged, and smashed belonging and they wanted me to file a claim that I did with no response as of yet.
Also, they dropped off my stuff at the garage level by the elevator. (I didn't have much and everything fitted in the elevator) they wanted me to pay $450 dollar extra to bring them to 1st floor (my apartment is next to the elevator). The driver told me all they were responsible for was 70 feet to carry. I did tell Green Van Lines on day one about by apartment in detail! We waisted our money, time, and eventually this move cost us a lot more than what they charged us,,,, thousands of dollars more!!!

I move often for work. Green convinced me they were legit. Wrong. Typical bait and switch. And lied about it the whole time. Move was from the South to the Midwest. Kevin gave me a date of delivery after everything was loaded which was 8 days later than previously led to believe, but was supposed to be on a Monday, or possibly Tuesday. Paid half up front then. So the wife and I decide to take a weekend trip to kayak. On Saturday we get a phone call from an Arabic man demanding payment of the other half. I told him I have no idea who he is. Tried to call Green, no response. There was no communication whatsoever. The Arabic man tells me the delivery will be Sunday morning and demanded the payment be money order (no check, no cash) or it would not be unloaded and I would be charged a storage fee. This is two days before the date that was signed on the delivery order. We packed up and drive 4 hours back home for a delivery that didnt arrive until 3pm. On Sunday. Never seen these people in my life. The Arabic guys driving the truck and unloading were nice. The Arabic guy on the phone was beliferent and unprofessional. Still trying to contact Green; no response... even to this day. Had some furniture damaged and broken; some boxes of kitchen items were missing. Most of the living and dining room furniture was very damp (can you believe it!) and had to be put in the yard to dry (luckily it was a nice summer day) but then my 1 teenage kid and I had to move it in later. Thankful that Wal-Mart does money orders on Sunday and for the fact that yhe very important items arrived, even if wet.
Wishing you luck and success in finding a decent and trustworthy mover. Green is not that.

Green Van Lines Moving Company - Dallas Guy Cohen is nothing but a crook and a liar. He still has not refunded my security deposit for his dam moving blankets I have been dealing with this since March. A bunch of my dishes, glassware and furniture was broken. They sub contract out to other moving companies. Make sure you check out the photo’s especially the ones that shows how they stacked my stuff on top of other stuff. #BEWAREOFTHESCAM!!!

Large Home Cross Country move from Texas to Florida. Everything started great, but went downhill from there. They will not move or transport any liquids, which they told me beforehand, so I was prepared for that. They left all my liquids including my alcohol on the floor or counters. I came back to pick it up and/or throw away and realized my favorite bottle of Tequila was missing ($75 bottle). As they were leaving I called the guy in charge and told him it was missing, it quickly became apparent their crew has stolen it. They couldn't deny it, and he knew it was there. Upon delivery I paid for a full service pack, unpack, box haul away and I added the full coverage insurance (which is a joke and a nightmare to deal with still 60 days in with no replies). The crew literally threw my things anywhere they could find, damaged my walls by leaving heavy shipping Crates against the walls, broke things and hid them, didn't fully unpack, didn't reassemble furniture including primary items like my bed and daughters crib. Additional items were stolen or lost, and they left before I ever got there I literally did not sign or approve anything. The new owner Beau was non responsive for a month and I still have no resolution.STAY AWAY FROM GREEN VAN LINES...

I am so disappointed in this moving company! Our family has used several moving companies over the years, and this was the worst experience we’ve ever had!!!! My son and his wife moved from Texas to Tampa Florida and when the movers unloaded their stuff they broke several items! They broke the tv, the frame to their bed, a desk, and too many more items to list. They also lost several of their boxes, so some other house must have received our stuff and we never saw it again! That’s expensive trying to replace broken and lost items!! And when you’re a young couple who can’t afford to replace it all, that’s VERY frustrating!! The movers were also extremely unprofessional. My daughter in law kept asking them to be careful with her things and they would just laugh. When they cut the plastic off the mattress they cut a big hole in the mattress!! And then they were supposed to assemble all the furniture before leaving, but they tried to go before doing it. And they seemed upset when my son told them they needed to stay and reassemble everything. Then to top it off, my daughter in law fed them lunch and instead of being grateful they left a mess of their lunch trash in the hallway of the apartment! And they left all the moving boxes in a big pile near the front door of the apartment, instead of taking them in the truck and discarding them. Basically the move was a disaster and the worst experience we’ve had with a moving company!! Do NOT use Green Van Lines moving company if you want your stuff treated with respect!!!!!!!!

Terrible company and terribly rude lying people! It's over 2 years that the claim department doesn't even pick up the phone, let alone paying for all your damages! They are just bunch of nasty shoe makers posing as professional movers.

We have contracted the service twice, the first time everything was fine. The second time they arrived super late to pick up the move, they charged 5 thousand dollars and it took almost 15 days to deliver. They picked up on February 24 and just today, March 13, they are delivering, and in addition to the 5,000 that they have already charged, they are charging us an additional 600 dollars that I still do not understand for what reason and of which I am finding out at this moment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE

WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER! WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! not only did my items arrive 2 weeks later that i was promised, but the truck was involved in an accident and my items arrived BROKEN. guess how much i was offered as reimbursement for breaking BOTH my $4,000 tvs? TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS! the customer service reps are a fucking joke.

I have used this company for over 2 years, the service Eli provides is amazing. I shipped furniture to Las Vegas and it was on time. I moved last week, they were on time, they packed everything properly. Great job once again.
