“This has been one of my best experiences shopping for furniture that I have ever had! Let me preface this by saying this was at the Fort Lauderdale location on 3700 Federal Hwy and not at any other location. Reason for my disclosure regarding location is because before that we went to another location in Coconut Creek and unfortunately was not impressed and this had more to do with the sales associate’s interaction more than the actual store! Actually the reality is we would have gone with another furniture store company had it not been for these two amazing associates we lucked out on getting. Those two associates are Celine Hernandez and Sophia Herrera ( hope I did not butcher their last name’s spelling) from the inception they greeted us with a warm and welcoming demeanor and I guess Celine realizing we were not or at least we looked liked we hadn’t the slightest idea as to what we wanted or what would work for us immediately recommended that we sit with one of her designers Sophia a service we were not even aware was available to us had it not been for Celine’s attention to ensuring her customers get every option available. Celine’s enthusiasm for helping customers was immediately evident and she made it clear that her top priority was to ensure we found exactly what we were looking for. Meeting Sophia was a god’s send she took us under her wings with the patience and knowledge that was exemplary to put it lightly. Sophia demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the store’s product range and even opened up vendors that were not even available on their site. She patiently listened to our preferences did a 3D rendering of our room so we can actually see what the various selections would look like, she asked thoughtful questions to better understand our vision and her expertise and keen eye for design allowed her to suggest several pieces that perfectly matched our style and needs. She meticulously explained the benefits and features of each item and even offered practical advice on how to arrange the furniture to maximize the space and enhance the room’s overall aesthetics. This made finding the perfect room so much easier and if that was not enough she went above and beyond and even worked with her manager to get us a steal of a deal on some floor sample pieces (now there is customer service!!) Both Celine and Sophia exhibited exceptional professionalism and a positive attitude throughout the entire experience. They were always approachable, patient and willing to go the extra mile to address any concerns or questions we had even after the transactions were completed. My only disappointment was not with Sophia or Celine but I found out that since we initially went to a different location and the associate their took our info their was going to be a split which I could not understand why since if it was not for these two amazing ladies we would have taken our business to one of their competitors so sad but amazingly they did not even say a word about that to me and I found out after the fact. Regardless I believe both Celine and Sophia are an invaluable asset to Haverty’s and I would recommend anyone seeking expert guidance and exceptional service in their furniture shopping experience to seek out this dream team. “I had a great experience buying a couch from Sol at Lovesac. I was initially wary of the couch-buying process because I had a horrible experience with Ashley Furniture a few years ago. But, once going to the Lovesac showroom and trying out the couch, I couldn’t find a couch I liked better anywhere else. The store also had great reviews regarding delivery times. The couch was more expensive than I was hoping to spend but they have deals going on very often, for instance, I got an “open quote” deal of 30% off. My couch pieces shipped and arrived to me within the 2-3 week time frame that Sol quoted me (they have a bunch of fabrics to choose from that ship within 2-3 weeks). The entire couch and covers ship in separate boxes via FedEx to your door. However, not all of the covers shipped together so I used a blanket to cover my seats so I could enjoy my couch while the rest of the covers shipped. Assembly was not too difficult. I’m a 24 year old woman and I was able to assemble my 2-seater couch with ottoman in a day. You can hire a taskrabbit to do it for you for under $100, if you don’t feel like you can do it by yourself. And my favorite part is that in the future, I can change up my couch if I decide I want a different fabric, or if I want to turn my ottoman into a 3rd seat! I would definitely recommend Lovesac to others.”

“We bought two very elegant console table for our long, wide hallway. Our initial reaction was that they were too big (deep) and thought we would return them. Floyd and (store manager) Tad didn’t blink an eye and started organizing to pick them back up. As a few days passed, we decided they actually were perfect and kept them. Again, Floyd and Tad were great about it (though I imagine there may have been some eye-rolling going on!!!). We love them (the tables)!!”

“I've meet with Mark and the team at Mr. Office Furniture a couple of times over the years and they have always been great. The first time it was for furniture for my home office. I visited their showroom and found a really good deal. I ended up getting a L shaped desk with great overhead storage and a filing hutch. I've moved it now between 2 homes and it's been perfect for me. During one of my moves, I had lost a few of the brackets that made the filing system work and they got me replacements at no charge. I also ended up getting a demo chair that they had in the showroom at the time, which I still use daily at my house. On a later visit, I was looking for a new chair to use at work. The chairs provided by my company are decent standard office chairs. However, I have a few back issues from years of computer work at a desk all day. Mark helped me identify an issue with how I was sitting and using the chair that was making my problem worse. With their advice, I was able to get a new chair that is much better for me and I don't have issues sitting all day any more. I stopped by today to leave this review as I heard that they had moved. I called yesterday and talked to Mark. Its still the same crew, just a new building down the street from their old location. I'm looking forward to stopping by and seeing it.”

“I love out of the closet! On this day they were having a mega sale on a plethora of clothes in the parking lot, $2 per item. They do that every once in a while but they have the best men’s selection for a thrift store in the area. They have tons of selections especially for jeans and shirts, which are color coordinated, as well as books! It’s the best place to beef up your book collection for only $1 a book sometimes. They also have a pharmacy inside so you can shop.”

There is a whole neighborhood I enjoy visiting in Miami dedicate to mid century modern design. Once you know the style of design it is easy to spot it. I discovered Previewmod after attending a Yelp event that was held a few doors down. As soon as I came in I was greeted a friendly hello. I loved exploring the small but carefully curated store. They had so many interesting furniture pieces, art, home decor, and even clothing and jewelry. My favorite piece was a marshmallow sofa by Herman Miller in bright red from 1956. It was selling for $3,895 which seems quite expensive but mid century modern is very popular today. Like in all things it is always best to do your research before buying. I did like that they had a lot of things I had never seen before anywhere else and would be very much at home on the set of I Love Lucy. As a fan of history and architecture, this store was a fun discovery.”
