The first time I went here and it felt like I been there before the staff made u feel welcome. Their hospitality and manners were great. I was stressed for my dog was sick they made me feel comfortable in there care especially Chantelle. I love her, she is a gem to keep. May God continue to bless the staff at Family Pet Medical Center. I would recommend them any day. Thank you all

Lynn and her team are absolutely the best! I’ve been to many vets and she by far is number one. From her customer service to her compassion, I was so nervous to find out if my dog was pregnant or not, which she is, yay! They were so comforting her and her team are absolutely the best best best make you feel like you are part of the family highly recommend, I even drove 30 minutes to see them. They were superb!!

Forced to give the place at least one star. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They are not animal lovers. I needed to get my ID copied upon entering the building. When I asked why they stated it was fraud protection… the young blonde Vet tech was beyond physically rough with my dying, 15 year old cat and had a nasty attitude. Very condescending. Waited in the room for the DR. but there was no urgency as the employees were all discussing their lunch in the back room. Had to walk out before even seeing a DR after seeing the physical treatment from the vet tech. The front desk asked me questions about my cats recent records and after I answered they called my regular vet and asked the same questions immediately, as if I was lying. No no no no. AVOID!! Money driven only. Place is also very out dated.

AC broke and I have 2 long hair cats. I was able to get 2 emergency lion cuts and vet visits. They were dehydrated after the 2 hour trip from the country where nobody does lion cuts. Thank you Gabby, vet, and the best office staff. P.S. I got a gift certificate to Mario's Cuban food while waiting. OMG. Home made sangria and then some.....

I think it's important to update the signage, the voicemail and the website to indicate this is NOT a 24hr facility. I arrived 9/5/24 around 6:30am with my dog in distress with labored breathing in need of help. The lights were off the facility was closed. I called and never was routed to a person instead left a message. There was no signage in the door indicating "Hey We're Closed" Nothing. I ended up finding another emergency center on Cypress where my pet was seen. I recommend when changes happen at a minimum change the voicemail and put a sign on the door to let people know you're actually not open.

My 2 month old golden doodle ran into the garage door and couldn’t walk straight and then fell over. I thought she was dead but I quickly raced her to the vet and they took her in immediately and handled her with such grace and sensitivity as if the doctor really understood my puppies pain. He was so considerate and was very kind, hard working and very smart! Thank you so much for saving my puppy, bless you!

Kind, compassionate, and knowledge staff! They were able to ease my worries and provide me with updates on my dogs care after he injured his hind leg. My dog loves his care team and so do I!

My dog hit his paw on the refrigerator and had so much swelling and pain I thought it was going to ruin 4th of July. Family Pet Medical Center came so well recommended we drove all the way from West Palm to get him seen. We brought him in around 6 AM and the staff were exceptional. They took care of him immediately and the Xray tech took human quality images and the little dingo was back in action in a few days. We went back a few weeks later for a follow up and I won’t get treatment anywhere else!

I have been going to this vet for years and have recently been EXTREMELY disappointed in the service and processes this past year. They have forgotten to update my dog’s chart multiple times, have left out important medical records, and have shown little concern when I have brought this up. I will never go to this vet again and would encourage everyone to look into the malpractice here.

They would rather let my cat die than help him by releaving his bladder so I could get him to my vet in the morning. Nope, unless I forked over over $4,000, they didn't want anything to do with me or my poor cat!! Shame on you!!!! Animals are more important than money!!!!
Edit to answer their response:
First of all, not that you care, clearly, but my cat did survive because of another vet that actually does care about animals. You just proved my point that you guys don't care about animals. You didn't even mention in your response about my cat or his wellbeing.
And secondly, I was absolutely there! On Sunday, August 18th, in the afternoon, to be exact. I made an appointment before even getting there, so I was in your system. I have Uber receipts to show as well. I filled out the paperwork and was about to hand over your $125 fee just to evaluate him (even though I already knew what was wrong with him).
Luckily for me I never gave you terrible people any of my money, because I had called before hand and spoken to one your receptionists that lied and told me you could work with me on payment plan, as I was upfront from the beginning that I didn't have 4k to spend. When I got there, I told the rude female receptionist about the phone call, and she told me there was no way you'd help my cat unless I paid everything upfront.
After the nice gentleman behind the desk (who felt my cats bladder and agreed that it was completely full, and the only one that actually seemed to care about my cat) talked to the vet about at least emptying my cats bladder, to which the vet told him nope, not unless I paid over 4k first, I left.
At that point, I was so upset and angry that I had to leave before saying something I knew I would regret.
I don't remember anyone's names because I was so upset and crying the whole time over my sick cat.
So yes, I absolutely was there, and no, I will never return again.
To add again to their new response:
Wow!!! Shame on you!!!! Not only do you not care about animals, but you also LIE in your responses. I didn't call and visit many vets, just yours, but once again, you lie.
So for the last time, I absolutely was at your clinic, and YOUR VET IS THE ONE THAT DECLINED MY CAT BECAUSE I WOULDN’T FORK OVER $4,000 !!!!!!!
Stop trying to manipulate people into thinking you are good people!!!!
You care only about money, and your terrible responses only prove that over and over!
Notice that I haven't deleted any of my responses, only added to, because I'm telling the truth and people need to know the truth.
What's really sad is that you could have just admitted that you were wrong and apologized, but instead you are trying to manipulate your responses by changing them to look like I'm writing to the wrong vet.
I left the paper with the $4,000 quote you gave on the bench at your vet, but of course, you already know this, which is why you came up with your new response.
I just wish I would have seen all the 1 star reviews and saved myself the headache.
