After purchasing a kayak online to pick up in store, they authorized on their end to be delivered to my apartment with an extra charge of $200, that I did not authorize. I've been trying to resolve the issue for two weeks, the kayak is pending shipping fulfillment still and I'm out almost $800. They will not help, they just keep telling me once it's delivered (to my apartment) then I can return it but the shipping fee is as is and will not be reimbursed.

Dick's Sporting Goods is a great place to go for all your sports needs. they have it all for all your favorite sports, equipment and clothing. The store is always kept neat and organized and always have plenty in stock. The service is great. You always have someone there that can help you out with what you're looking for.

OMG! First, the Pompano store appears to be long gone, so we tried the Fed Hwy location. The staff seems VERY used to ignoring or avoiding customers. We were looking for shoes. Picked out a couple pair and the guy went off to get them. After many minutes, I set a timer for 5 minutes. Nobody ever came back. Two staff just disappeared. Guess there is no sales quota. The store was very dirty. I took my shoes off anticipating a pair coming out from the back. That's when I noticed the Stuck on crap and piles of dust & dirt.

The young man Mike in the shoe department was amazing and patient. He was very helpful with making recommendations to my wife and myself and really made my shopping experience a great one. Deserves the recognition!!

Mike in the shoe department was great! I needed new work shoes and he was very patient with me and the brooks were the final decision! He’s doing a great job with customer service and should be recognized! Thanks again for dealing with my million questions

I had a great experience shopping at this location and found what I was looking for thanks to an associate there named Wensky. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was also attentive to what my kids liked and what I needed in a shoe for them. I can’t sing his praises enough, every store needs a Wensky!

Tons of great sporting equipment. Sports drinks and snacks. Great clothing. Lots of good stuff but prices are high.

Prices are outrageous. It took a while for someone to help us, even though there were at least 4 employees in the shoe department. I asked one girl where the kids' softball cleats were and she pointed to the kids' wall, which obviously didn't have any kids' cleats on it. I told her no, try again. She then asked over the microphone where the softball cleats were, so I spoke to her slowly so she could add "KIDS" to her request. Even after that, it was just overwhelming. The prices went higher depending on the size, and i'm not talking about the change between kids and adults, I'm talking between an adults 8 and an adults 10... which sounds crazy to me. I have all 3 kids in softball but I'm not rich. The fact that my 11-year-old daughter wears a size 10 shoe was not up to me. Why is the same shoe that is marked at $65 now $80 when she tries on a size 10? We also looked at gear. I wasn't going to pay for the $70 bat the guy showed my youngest. I don't even know if she knows what softball is. Thanks but no thanks. We went to a different big-name retailer and I bought shoes for half the price, and ended up spending more because I could buy more things!

So I went to Dick's on Federal Highway to purchase a couple of training shirts. I selected 1 shirt & 2 workout underwear. I did this on my own not 1 associate said a word to me even though I passed several. No problem. Then I proceed to checkout and the last thing I want is a nasty disposition checkout woman but that's what we got. She was at the register for credit & debit card register only. We walked up and she got on the phone. So I placed the items on the counter. No words were exchanged. She got off the call and rang my items up & then she stands there with her arms crossed. I thought the wife inserted the credit and there was no movement so I asked the clerk are we done? She snaps you haven't paid yet ... so I look at the wife and she was struggling to get the card into the machine and when she did the register printed out the receipt. The clerk says now you can leave. Not thanks. Nothing. This occurred around 11:30 - 12:00. I am tired of giving money to corporations that have no respect for customers. That will be the last time I ever purchase anything from Dick's at any location.

I was treated horribly by a cashier for no reason. I also spent over 200 dollars. Never coming back. Everything was also a mess. It felt like shopping at store going out of business.

This place is always a mess. I went to get some weightlifting gloves and this is what it looked like. After digging through the pile, I couldn’t find any gloves my size (men’s med or large). I gave up, went to Amazon, and ordered exactly what I wanted (for less than what I would have paid at Dick’s) and had them the next afternoon, delivered to my door.

Visited about 2p on a Wednesday. Store was clean and well merchandised. To try on shoes, I used the scan and pick tablet on the shoe department floor. Associate brought me two of the three pairs that I had requested. I said thank you. He didn’t say a word. No ‘you’re welcome’, no ‘let me k ow if I can help’. Both pairs fit so I took them to the cash to purchase. The cash register associate had abbreviated‘I can help the next customer in line’ to ‘I take next’. ?♂️. His was short on words too. He didn’t wish me a good day at the end of the transaction, but did say ‘you too’ when I wished him a good day. Bring on the AI robots at retail. They’ll be more welcoming and probably more engaged.
