I would definitely stay again!! The room was clean and perfect for us. The pool was cold but great! Sitting out by the pool we met a lot of great people from all over. It is in walking distance from the beach.Walkability: It is in walking distance of the beach and a few eateries.

Absolutely the most disgusting and unsafe "hotel" I've ever witnessed. Moldy rooms, stained and damaged furniture, dirty sheets. The hosts here will cut corners wherever they can and have the audacity to nickel & dime you at every opportunity. They do not deserve to be in this business. This is just shameful.Homeless people will frequently hang around on the property. The gate to get to the rooms does not lock properly, so they can walk right in and knock on your door at any time, disrupting your sleep and yelling random questions. I suspect they squat in empty rooms from time to time, and that is why they are so filthy.Do not come here if you value your time or safety.

Let me start off w/ the only 2 positive things: the location & the rooms are nice, bright, and I will get further into details, ok, but actually not nice when speaking about the view... especially if taking into consideration that the entire place - especially the 2nd pool is under major construction and the noise not just during the week from construction can be quite frustrating, esp. If ur room (like mine) faces the construction, even more disturbing: this incredible loud banging noise right above my room - other tenants must have heard it too - as if a herd of bulls are trampling & running back & forth, banging, etc. ... I guess it was a group of playing teenagers - a handful of boys playing so roughly and loud, probably wrestling, definitely screaming into the late hours of the night, without consideration to others. At times, it was so unbearably loud and scary you would think they are trying to kill someone up there. Unbelievable. The concept of a mostly staffless hotel does not work here at all, in a frequent visited beach area, high volume of turnover guests, who expect some type of personalized service, starting with parking / valet parking and how often did I observe many, wondering guests, with unanswered questions in their eyes and jealously glancing over across the street to the Best Western Plus hotel, their main priority to arriving and leaving guests, valet and regular staff constantly helping ARRIVING AND LEAVING GUESTS, and everyone in between, answering all kind of questions but here st the Deco Boutique Hotel - as a guest u feel left sanding in the rain, starting with check in.... room door locks are often not easy to understand how to work, unsecured construction areas and unkept outdoor areas... this place could be wayyyyy more upscale but all these issues (I will explain more below) would make me come never ever back here. Questions can mostly only be asked thru online chat, Still didn't figure that out and honestly I would like to address someone in person not thru chat where someone gets back to you in 24 to 48 hrs. How inconvenient. I need my issues addressed now. So I didn't even bother to let em know about the annoying construction noise (which they won't be able to do anything about it but a room NOT directly facing it would have been a first step, or my clogged toilet,Towels accessible in the locked lobby were always out or down to 1 maybe...frustrating if you would like a shower after a long day and there are none or not enough....breakfast not inlcuded....and only the very first day, there was hot coffee available in the "lobby" (cramped room with a desk, if occupied by staff from 9am to 3pm as advertised- you are lucky... usually no one there...And I only rated the rooms with 3 stars because the room itself was nice, with cold AC, table, sink, microwave, little fridge and bright colors but as said before, the view, the noise- more from upstairs than from construction noise outdoors - my gosh, I mean seriously, that upstairs noise was so frightening at times, I cannot image that other guests didn't complain as well. I shrugged so bad sometimes, such a loud noise, I swear, you would think there is a full- blown wrestling match live and in action going on there and someone or several people definitely just got badly hurt. Wow. Never ever did I experience that -over days and nights, til 4.30am sometimes.. I am speechless that no one intervened or said anything. Well, I know why, cause it's so difficult to contact some stranger thru chat online who isn't even on site, but simply a booking agent or some travel agent trying to sell you a trip rather than addressing immanent issues on site. I am tired and not well rested, still scared by some of those brutal noises, and their outdoor amenities are uninviting (sitting areas are soaked from rain, dirty & leaves everywhere) ... no thanks. It's not like they are so much more affordable than other hotels around there. Save your money and avoid this place under any circumstances. Even roo

The room that I stayed in had broken floor tiles, dirty shower curtains, and the most intense mold/mildew smell that I have ever experienced. Woke up with a headache both days and all my clothes now have a strong mold odor. I would not stay here even if they paid me.

Stayed here last month for our 4 day vacation. Remodel seems very rushed. Rooms are semi clean but furniture and floor were dirty. We were kept up every night from the surrounding rooms, the walls are very thin. Amenities that were listed for the room weren't in the room. Pictures are very deceiving the room and bathroom were very small. Only upside is the pool area and that it's in walking distance to the beach.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! We booked through Airbnb and stayed 3 nights and 4 days. 2 out the 3 nights our room completely flooded. There was obviously an issue before we arrived with the pipes that was never resolved and they put us in this room anyway. We contacted front desk to get our money back for the stay and they weren’t responsive. We then got Airbnb involved and they failed to follow their own policies as well as reach out to the hotel to demand a refund for us. Our full refund was DECLINED from all parties involved. Our entire trip was ruined and our personal items were ruined as well. DO NOT BOOK. DO NOT BOOK. DO NOT BOOK!!

I wanted to at least like this hotel/Airbnb but after three nights of getting disturbed from 11PM to around 3-4 in the morning, I just can't recommend this place. If you need to sleep at night and you're not there to party outside until 3AM, this place isn't for you. Pros: To be fair, we had a big room on the third floor with two comfortable queen size beds. The A/C works great to cool the spacious room down. There's a big fridge, a dining set, a working kitchen, and a big sofa and a TV. The bathroom was clean and big enough. They even used one of my pics for their site. There's a cool roof top lounge area with reclining seats. There's parking in front of the hotel which you pay $20/day for. And there's a pool with what looked like cloudy water so we didn't attempt getting in. There are other reviews about the pool. Anyway, it's about ten minutes away from the beach on foot. It's in a great location but oh boy...Problems: First, the shower wasn't working on our first day there. After contacting them, somebody came right away to fix it. However, after two quick showers, it wouldn't close properly and hot water leaked all night turning the bathroom into a steam room. It only got fixed in the afternoon on the our second day there. Second, we were already sleeping when we got woken up by a beeping sound that wouldn't stop. It was the smoke detector. My husband had to climb up the counter to take it out. Turned out the battery was low so it was emitting warning sounds. It also got fixed in the afternoon of our second day there. So after that smoke detector disturbance came what was much worse. At around 11 PM, we were woken up by the sound of heavy footsteps coming up the stairs and walking in the balcony. They were also chatting loudly without any regard to the people staying there. They went into their room which was right next to us unfortunately. Inside their room they made more noise by turning on the TV, and talking and laughing loudly. It was a group of younger men and women. My husband and I were exhausted from the late night 5 hour trip and from having a busy day at a convention. We just wanted a good night sleep. He managed to sleep through the noise but made sure to message the host. I couldn't get any sleep until around 2. They were still loud but I was just too tired. Nobody came to tell them to stop and be quiet. There was a strong odor of weed coming from the gap in the door separating our rooms. We got busy the next day and thought everything will be taken care of because we already messaged reception about the repairs to be made and the noisy guests to be dealt with. Second night, the same group again woke us up at around 10:30 PM and their noise level was much higher. I had to call the number listed on the hotel website at around 1:30 in the morning but it only went to voice mail. My husband contacted them as well but there was no response until daytime. I was about to call the police which I regret I didn't do. The noise went on and my husband missed a very important meeting because we both couldn't help but sleep deeply and missed the alarm. We're not used to missing sleep nights in a row. We contacted the hotel manager again and this time my husband finally lodged a complaint through Airbnb as well. The manager we spoke to on the phone was apologetic and said she'd deal with those rowdy guests. We thought we'd be sleeping peacefully the third night. NOPE! They were back, running up and down the stairs, stayed at the balcony at some point loudly chatting and laughing away, then went to the pool to party and were all just arrogant, disrespectful, disgusting people! They suddenly stopped and were probably sternly warned around 3 in the morning. The place got quiet. We were just getting up at around 8 AM when a woman who didn't speak English kept knocking on our door. She wanted to clean the room so badly perhaps that she unlocked it. I told her no, we're not yet ready to check out. We're gonna go out

Highly not recommend specially to book as Airbnb. Very expensive, 20$ fee per day for parking, small rooms, no kitchen, no water bottle even one.

I’ve seen mixed reviews about this place, some horrible and some amazing. People claim the bathroom smell like mold, but I didn’t experience anything like that bc we kept the bathroom floor dry so I don’t think it has anything to do with the hotel. For the most part, it’s a really cute hotel and looks super luxurious, but upkeep could be better if you look into the fine details. One of the pools is actually really pretty and feels like you’re at the four seasons or something. The location is great, we went for spring break and it was a 15 min walk to the nightlife and a block to the beach. Service is okay, the lobby is only open until 4pm but if you need something they’ll get it done. I’m not sure why people complain about the pool, we used it and haven’t had any health issues so take that as you will. Overall if you’re a low maintenance traveler on a budget who still wants a luxury feel, this place is great. It’s not perfect but I think it deserves more credit than what I’ve seen. Definitely best value for the price in ft laudy!!Rooms: The rooms are a little small unless you get the suites.Safety: The gate in the back of the building was broken the first few days but they fixed it.
