When you look beyond the decor you see poor building maintenance and lack of customer service. Forced to valet while valet takes public parking spots, pool door was broken, no complimentary breakfast, ice room door broken, and ok front desk help.Cleaning personnel were great in our room.

I came here for a family event and stayed December 30th. My sister made the reservation for the both of us because her husband is in the military so they received the government rate. I came to check in for the both of us and then we were supposed to meet up at the Casino. Timothy, the front desk manager made this very difficult for my family and I because he made my sister come here to show her ID first before us going out. The holidays are for spending time with family.*Rooftop pool*Carol in the restaurant was great! They don’t let you park your own car here:( They force you to do valet. The view from the window of the room is of a parking garage.

I stayed two nights. The service was great. Valet parking is not amazing. You have to pay for it, and they literally leave the car on the street right there all night. The room facing the main street ( N Fed Hayway) is super noise. Also, the AC is very loud, too. The price was on the high end for this type of service. I loved that it was dog friendly, though.Nearby activities: Everything. Clubs. Restaurants

The front desk is the worst. The Co-manager was extremely rude. She canceled my stay without giving me notice, when I confronted her she said that somebody tried to impersonate me, which is false. The one calling her was my brother and he did not impersonate me. Later, she changed her mind and said that I tried to cancel my stay. Which is false, I only asked about cancellation and its fee and I explicitly told her to NOT cancel my stay even though she kept asking if I would cancel repeatedly. She wanted me to Cancel my stay for some reason, which was unacceptable.RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, there are plenty of options out there.

I have been staying here 8-10 nights a month for 5 months. I have had multiple problems with the “manager” Donna. Who Marriott told me is not actually a manager. She refused to let me speak to an actual manager and whenever you have any need she refuses to help. I have had this issue with her multiple times over multiple stays. They do not provide the basic amenities provided to Gold & above members, they also do not provide housekeeping services as promised. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I stay here a lot for work. It's pretty nice for a Courtyard - new hotel with decent location (not downtown, despite the name, but close to my office, a park, and some decent restaurants). Staff is friendly. The noise from cars racing up and down US-1 can be loud a night.

So they have a club on the roof and you can experience it too even on the 6th floor. Would be a good hotel otherwise...

Manger here is a real arrogant guy. Horrible customer service. I don’t know how this guy is the manager of a Marriott establishment. He actually called the police because we had a dispute, instead of handling like a real manager would. I wouldn’t go here anymore just because they have guys like this working for their establishment. I gave Marriott a call and they’re working on the issue. I will press the issue and report them to the BBB. Can’t give certain people any power.Noteworthy details: Stay away from this hotel

I stayed here in July 2021 for 2 nights! Great location and very clean. Was easy to get here from the airport too. Very comfortable. The pool and bar on the rooftop were beautiful! Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel because I was at the beach and with friends, but I was able to sleep well. It was really a great hotel and would be interested in staying there again!

I stayed as a Top Aesthetics patient. The staff was completely amazing and went above and beyond. The front desk associate Danielle was so accommodating. The kitchen staff and bartender were amazing!! Thanks for making my recovery stay so smooth! Highly recommend staying here!!!

Imagine the bitter irony of expecting a tranquil night’s rest on an “ultra-firm” Serta Perfect Sleeper bed, only to be met with a night of persistent discomfort. This was my recent experience at the Courtyard by Marriott in Fort Lauderdale. As a typically heavy sleeper, accustomed to a solid nine hours of uninterrupted slumber, my expectations were rudely shattered when I found myself incessantly shifting positions on an implacably firm mattress. Not only was the physical comfort egregiously lacking, but the ironic sting of a bed named “Perfect Sleeper” failing to deliver on its implied promise was palpable. This experience is particularly painful for individuals like me, grappling with the chronic back pain that can transform what should be a rejuvenating rest into an agonizing ordeal.Sadly, the anguish was not alleviated by the hotel staff, who offered no consolation nor remedial action when confronted with the grievous shortcomings of their accommodation. Thus, while the Courtyard by Marriott may suffice for those who prefer an ultra-firm sleeping surface, those seeking a night of genuine repose might find themselves woefully disappointed. An additional note of inconvenience was experienced with the in-room amenities - my fridge was non-functional upon arrival. A morning spent unplugging, shaking, and replugging it was necessary to coax it into operation, adding an unexpected frustration to an already less-than-satisfactory experience. My experience, in essence, beckons a cautious advisory to potential future guests: For those who value not only their sleep but also a semblance of customer service compassion, alternative accommodations in Fort Lauderdale might well be worth considering.

The manager tried to hold my friends baggage “HOSTAGE” because he said we needed to pay for a room that they didn’t allow an occupied user to use. I would write his name but they can erase reviews that use peoples names. Older blonde head man, real arrogant attitude. I live close by so I stay here a lot. I’m not the only person that has issues with this guy. Employees and other guests have had issues in the past. Marriott needs to get an entitled manger out of that manger position. We will be reporting him to the better business bureau.
