I was disappointed with my recent experience at BJ's Wholesale Club. They don't have those convenient red trolleys, so I had to use a regular shopping cart for my large wholesale items and groceries. The customer service was not friendly neither. I feel compelled to share this feedback in hopes that they'll improve their business practices, especially since their competitors seem to be doing a better job.

So today 02/24/24 at 8:00 pm I went to use the restroom, as I was walking in, there was another customer in front of me asking a man named Wayne (with short hair and gold teeth) if he was still cleaning the restroom so that she could use it. He responded saying “Make it quick” and then repeated that to me as I was walking in behind her. I asked her what he said and before she could respond he proceeds to yell “ I SAID MAKE IT QUICK “ in an even more disrespectful and aggressive tone. I then tell him how he is being very disrespectful. He then states how we need to hurry up, I said I was going to take all the time I need. He starts to say more things that I could not quite hear in the same tone. I walk out of the restroom asking for his name and where I can talk to a manager about his behavior.As a consumer it is very disappointing that I was treated in this manner. I pay to keep this store in business while this man is paid by the company to perform the tasks his job requires of him. There is no reason he should be speaking to any consumer this way, let alone a pregnant woman. He stated that the bathroom was closed as I was walking away to speak with the manager. If the bathroom were closed, that would have been needed to be communicated before either me or the other woman entered the restroom. However it was not. This BJS closed at 10 pm so it is also.hard to believe that the restroom is closed two hours before the store. When speaking to a shift manager “the closest to a manager I could get- according to another employee” she agreed I was wrongly treated and did not indicate the restrooms were closed. In fact she advised his job is to clean when customers are done using restroom. No where in his job description is it implied he should be rushing people out of the bathroom before they have even entered. He should not be allowed to work there. I am glad to escalate my experience as high as I need to.

Literally shop ANYWHERE else. This is the 4th or 5th time now getting spoiled dairy and meat products from them when the date is still good on the package. Cant be a coincidence. Also the employees are extremely nasty, and for that matter management isnt much better. Want an online order? Great get ready to wait in the parking lot for 3 hours. Want to call them? Good luck get ready to be on hold forever. I guess the point of all this is we are paying THEM to shop there with a membership fee... so why pay money to put up with subpar products and services when there are other options around?

Just tried out their delivery service for the first time, delivered missing milk and bread. The club didn't bother removing the items from the order, they just had me assume the delivery driver stole it.Now I'm attempting to call the club, only about 45 minutes wasted so far on hold. There's no sign that anyone will ever pick up, let alone a manager.The worst grocery shopping experience of my lifetime. Thank you BJ's, you really made my day!

Waited 30 minutes for curbside. Nobody came. Called. Waited 10 minutes. No one picked up. Left and called again to cancel. 20 minutes later. Still no one. Worst experience ever. Normally a bit delay is expected but today they went above and beyond.

Poor customer service tonight, December 6th between 9pm and 10pm. I asked for help to make a purchase on a small poinsettia that when brought to the cashier we discovered there was no bar code to scan. PIC Sandra took the poinsettia away and refused to allow me to purchase the item as she claimed it was defective. When I asked for Sandra's name she refused to give it, then I asked her to see the security guard for help and believed she was showing me the way to him upstairs. Instead she turned around and yelled I am not allowed upstairs, so I waited by the foot of the stairs near the registers for the security guard. When he arrived, I asked him for her name and he gave it to me, along with another PIC, Nerline that located an empty box with a barcode for 3 poinsettias yet still refused to sell me the 1 poinsettia that did not have a barcode. The item was not defective.

Think it’s ridiculous that they harass you to see your card. I wouldn’t be trying to come in the door If I didn’t have a membership. At this point I just keep walking… also what’s the point of check out if I still have to get patted down at the door. Like here’s an idea close self checkout then… these locations are getting absolutely ridiculous…
