Not a good place to go shoot! Old, dirty, dusty, outdated facility. Inadequate ventilation in the range. The guy behind the counter is a rude and obnoxious false know it all full of cliche gun myths like ".45 is the only caliber that will knock a bad guy off his feet" or "chamber flags will ruin the springs on your gun". Felt like 1985 in there. Only range in south florida that will ONLY allow brass case ammunition, owner says it's because he gets a good price for spent cases.. maybe once upon a time this place was really something but for today's gun enthusiast it will be very clear to you the second you walk in that this is just not as good as any of the many other options available to us today.

Roy and Stephanie are the best. I use them for all my transfers except my class 3 stuff. The range can handle 9m and 45. I go to practice with edc’s

I absolutely recommend this range, the staff were very knowledgeable, patient and polite. As a first time gun owner they went step by step with me every step of the way. Highly recommend this shop/range.

If convenience is your thing, and you live close what's not to like. I just moved to downtown Fort Lauderdale from brickell. In brickell I had to drive 25-35 minutes to shoot a gun. Found this old little place less than a mile from downtown Fort Lauderdale. can shoot any of my handguns, zero the red dot versions have some fun and be door to door from my condo in minutes. Range isn't rifle caliber rated but laid-back place super close by. Also can bring your own ammo if it's brass. A+

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bill Boyd’s, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. As a firearms enthusiast, I have seen numerous gun shops in the past, and I believe most will agree that there are some shops out there that can try to intimidate you with their sarcastic comments till they realize that they are not talking to a rookie. At Bill’s shop, that’s not the case; they genuinely give exceptional service, not to mention the knowledge they share. The shop has an extensive selection of firearms, and they seem to stock up well. So whether you're a novice or an experienced, you'll find an array of high-quality options to choose from. In conclusion, they have a shooting range on site and offer firearm training, assistance with paperwork and licensing processes, and more. I highly recommend Bill Boyd.

Bill the owner and his team are very knowledgeable gunsmiths and are incredibly well-trained! The gun range is very functional and they have ammo and other accessories.
