I have been shopping at this Big Lots on State Road 84 for approximately 10 years. I’ve purchased furniture, mattresses, several outdoor umbrellas, outdoor furniture, etc. literally spending 10+ thousand dollars.
I would certainly be considered a loyal customer
My last visit to the store I spent about $350 which included $69 for a charcoal grill. We use the grill the next night and the next morning the base was already rusted. Very disappointing I had to log the thing back to the store to get it returned. When I get into the store, Felicia was at the register. I complimented her on her hair and when I went to find my receipt, I didn’t have it. She told me that with no receipt, she would not return my money. I handed her my credit card and told her she could look it up that way she proceeded to talk to me, the cashier that I am a rude customer who comes returning things all the time (which is not true at all.)
She then complained that she had no SKU number, and I pointed to the exact model right behind her, Proceeded to tell me without a receipt she would give me $40 back. I then asked for the Javier (the manager)
I have never been spoken to with such disrespect and disregard for a customer. I was absolutely appalled. The other cashier I believe her name is Roxanne was very kind and of course Javier refunded my money as Felicia stomped out of the store.
I will not return to Big Lots and will tell everyone I know about my experience unless she terminated immediately again absolutely no excuse for such rude and threatening behavior!!

I got some great deals on furniture over a year ago. I forgot the name of the lady who helped me at checkout but she was super friendly and helpful. I liked the discounts offered, a pleasant surprise. Fair prices and great furniture.

I ordered online a furniture chair and upon arrival at store was greeted by their staff. I was in and out in no time. The staff was courteous and even helped me load the chair into my truck. A+++ service!!

I purchased a gazebo and living room sectional/rug from this location using progressive leasing. I have used progressive leasing many years, and they are a great way to get what you desire with payout within 90 days or longer.The store manager was very kind, attentive, and extended his efforts to assist me. I feel that most stores aren't worth going to if management is rude and uncaring. To see the store manager at a coconut creek store covering due to low staffing, he had the same professionalism at this location. Patience and informative of what was available to me with my services.

Delivered me a broke sofa !!!!!! I had to pay for delivery to get this here! I have a useless sectional leaned over sitting in my living room!! I’m waiting to see how they will handle this

Beware: I purchased a love seat that was delivered with a broken arm rest. Not only have I not been able to secure a refund but now stuck with crap furniture after almost of daily calling for a month. Contacted corporate and same b******** Sent me back to a store that wouldn't help. Still no call from the District Manager. I don't even believe they exist. Do not waste your money at this store or at any Big Lot's store. Do yourself a favor and purchase something much better for the same price from Wayfair. I will never step foot in a Big Lots again and I have also been vocal at making sure my friends and family don't bother as well.

So according to the associates working here—Big Lots does not do even exchanges for the exact same merchandise. Priced exactly the same. A little background. I bought some slipper for my fiancé for her birthday a little under 24 hours before this post. They were the wrong size. Unfair Big Lots!!! So I just gave the slipper I purchased to a young lady that was in-line. Hope she enjoy them better than I could ever have. Thanks Big Lots!!!

This Big Lots was more organized and cleaner than many Bog Lots we have been to. Employees were all hard at work, with their heads down. Not much interaction with the customers. The cashier was friendly but not overly talkative. Things were easy to find, and the place had its categories together. Easy to get in and get out with what you need.

The cashier was friendly but not overly talkative. Things were easy to find, and the place had its categories together. Easy to get in and get out with what you need
