I stopped here to use the ATM. Very convenient if you are coming or going to the Fort Lauderdale airport...right off 17th street. The process was quick and easy, no one in front of me in the middle of the afternoon. I did not go inside the branch, so I had no interaction with any of the staff inside, but their automated systems for withdrawals and deposits is fast, quick and easy.

I dont like banks. Bankers even less so. They fancy themselves as some sort of magicians of finance when in reality they’re basically cash register clerks. I must begin this review by saying I ma not making this up. It actually happened. And like 10 minutes ago. Anyway; I am a freelance chef on yachts. On Christmas I was paid a meager sum of $3,501 for work I’d done and lo and behold they pay me with a check. Now ive run into this before so I opened up a Bank of America account at a brick and mortar because as much as I love revolution and cash app and Venmo they won’t cash these checks. This is all my money to get me to my next Jon mind you. So on 12/26 I go in and deposit it. They tell me there will be an ‘extended hold’ placed on the check because it’s from another bank. In Ohio though, not Haiti or Nigeria. Calmly I inquire ‘cant you just call the bank? This was issued by someone who just bought a 2023 yacht for $9.5 million, I have all the paperwork down to the crew manifest and causing permit, can you do anything? As you might have guessed they can do nothing. Except smile with the smug satisfaction that they somehow have inconvenienced a customer. That was seriously my impression. Anyway, fast forward 8 days later. The hold is set to come off at 9am and it’s 2:30 pm the day before. I go in and plead with the bank manager that I am penniless and have been for 8 days. Can they help me at all? Maybe release a hundred dollars so I can eat. The money is there, in fact as far as the bank is concerned it’s released at 5:01PM. Without looking up from his computer monitor where he was no doubt surfing the web looking at cat videos he straight up suggested I go to a payroll advance and take out a loan. Yes, you read that correctly; my Bank of America Branch Manager, the head guy of all the bankers at that bank literally gave me professional financial advice to go take out a predatory loan from a check cashing center as if I was some beggar looking for a bone. You have my money you dimwit. Not only that, there absolutely has got to be some kind of ethical issue with a financial professional giving financial advice to a banking customer to go enter into a cycle of predatory lending. I know some really dumb people because I’m also pretty dumb and birds of feather and all that. But that is the absolute worst financial advice anyone has ever given to me. Period. The worst. All Time. And it came from the mouth of the literal branch manager of this Bank of America. I’m sure youre reading this smug branch manager. I told you I would mention your wretched financial advice in my review. And you just smugly smiled and said have a nice day. I fully intend to run this up the chain of bigger bankers than you but being that youre all crooked as a barrel of snakes without a single ounce of ethical fortitude between all of you im sure you’ll probably be promoted as your bosses no doubt have financial interests in predatory bank lenders. Shame on you. This is why I hate banks and I hate bankers even more.

I was a bit put off by these new signs. All front parking reserved for electric cars and energy savers. Isn't that discrimination? As if my money wasn't as good as somebody that had an electric car? So I pulled in the parking space with my 250 hp Mazda. ha Ha!! Bank of America's happy to write loans for any type of car!! Inside the bank they were very efficient.

Your phone number is wrong.When I finally navigated through the headache of trying to get someone online to give me your branch number..... No one answers the phone!Can someone please call me so I can conduct some business banking. Maybe update your web details. Perhaps invest in some customer service to answer a phone.

Not sure if they are even in business because the phone rings busy or just hangs up automatically....Meanwhile I have an elderly father over in Fort Lauderdale and he's having a hard time following his statements. These people make me feel amazing about being a Wells Fargo customer.

The new building is really nice. I was surprised each and every month when I came to cash my check, there is no line! 3rd time there I asked, where did all the people go that used to bank here? The old building, which was huge, always had a long line. Customer service was always nice, friendly and always willing to help. Customers shouted at the tellers and managers all the time, open another line, this is crazy, I am on my lunch hour! During the beginning of covid, only 8 people were allowed in the branch at a time. Security stood outside with you and as one client left, one was allowed in. It was a long line outside also. Now, each time I walk in, I have to be ready with check and debit card in hand because there is no line. It has been a year and same conditions exist. No line, quick friendly service.Recently, they changed one of their policies which led me to consider changing my bank after 23 years. For that reason I have been reading reviews for other banks. Seems to me that before I do that, I should be ready to stand in line again. I decided to see what rating my branch had and was surprised that the reviews weren't better. I felt obligated to compliment this branch hoping all along that I don't jinx myself and create a long line.

Jean and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and wellversed on all aspects of the bank and its accounts. I was also pleasently surprised they have multiple employees who speak both english and spanish perfectly making it easy for my non-english speaking parents to handle their bussiness

Waiting nearly an hour for a replacement debit card. They insist on doing online banking..Why cant it just be easy?What a pain.

I rarely write reviews. I do it when I’m either extremely blown away by a place, or when I’ve had such a negative experience that I need to mention it to a manager and when I do, they show indifference or lack of care. That was the case here.The line for a teller today was over 25 minutes and only one teller was working. There are multiple people including a manager behind the counter not working…just standing around either talking or using the computer. There was one teller actually working and taking customers and everyone else couldn’t care less that there was a line of waiting customers.So after getting through, I mentioned this to the manager in front who basically blew me off as there is nothing they can do. LMy purpose for the review isn’t the unacceptable line. It was the managers attitude that there was nothing that could be done. I wasn’t looking for anything other than “yeah, that’s unacceptable and I’ll look into it.” The ‘can’t do anything about it’ attitude is what angered me.

I don't know why the rating is so low, this branch is the best and most efficient that I've ever been to. Very quick and friendly service.

should have more than 1 teller open when line is out the door. that is just poor management skills not impressed the old bank was way better.
