My dog is dead because of my choice to take her here to see a specialist. All they want to do is remove eyes not fix them. Do not go here they screwed up her medication twice. They are incompetent uncaring so called doctors. They are so lazy all they do is give you expensive meds and don't even administer anything the first time. You see a different doc each time. It's a sham that will leave you broke and exhausted in the process.

Terrible beyond a nightmare my experience with Dr Swinger at Animal eye guys. My dog Lolita got a scratch in her eyes I took her here and the medication they prescribed her cause her glaucoma. After years trying to find out what happened I find out that certain breeds have tendencies and apparently the medication exacerbate a condition is common on maltesee it seems they have a small angle which can be clog. Some dogs do others don't However is common on Maltese. You may think they will know this things and as a prevention they will prescribe something different for a Maltese but no...you.are wrong!. I guess they missed it.. However the cherry of the pie was when I took my dog for a second opinion to Dr Kaspersky very well known eye vet in South Miami to find out her opinion cause I saw the eye very big. I find out that my dog was blind and has Glaucoma. What????? I expected anything but that?. How come all those days without treatment and in pain. Dr Swinger never informed me of that . Glaucoma is very painful cause is high pressure in your eyes same thing like in humans, when I confront him he totally denied it. Shame on him!. He said the dog can see and he proceed to make a test to prove it. He step on the floor which the dog obviously react cause SHE is not deaf SHE IS BLIND. He said..." you see the dog can see". I was very upset I couldnt believe it. However he said it so truthful he made me doubt it so I took back the dog to Dr Kaspersky which was amazed and told me.... Miss I am very sorry but your dog is blind and has Glaucoma. This dog lost the vision and can't see. She made couple of tests with different lights which my dog didn't respond. She comfirm again. No the dog lost the vision. She said what you have now is an issue with the glaucoma wich you need to treat immediately cause your dog is in excruciating pain. I did of course. I felt totally lied point in the wrong direction violated my trust. Very sad for my baby. I failed her cause i took it to an irresponsible doctor. Lolita and I end going to a third good honest eye specialist also a surgeon for his glaucoma which was recommended by Dr Kaspersky Dr Carrastro cause she has issues beyond control with drops and later end losing her eye through surgery. A total nightmare!. Not even counting the amount of money spent because of the negligence of this Dr Swinger and the pain the poor Loita has to go through which has no price tag. Save your money go to an honest doctor with better ethics and compassion cause this one has none. In life people make mistakes but you admit it and face it and show the willingness to cooperate. He has not ethics and love and compassion for a dog and the client. How come you can face a problem in that way? How do you sleep at night Wanting it or not. Cause i can not imagine that a veterinarian who supposedly love animals willingly cause harm on one. However if some way or another you end hurting someone's baby who was brought to you and trusted to you by his owner you take responsabilidad show solidarity and team with the owner and find a solution.The owner thought the best of you cause nobody takes their dog to an "Specialist" pays a truck load of money and think this doctor doesnt know anything right? and if something goes wrong will dump me line a hot potato NO. You expect some ethics.However years of college and a PHD in Finances cause that place is run as a Financial institution doesn'tbuy ethics emphaty compassio and solidarity. Expect no mercy there if something for whatever reason goes wrong instead get ready to pay for the broken dishes cause he will not admit it and thrown you in the dumpster You are on your own. Unfortunately you will never see that side until is too late my Lolita passed away loosing her vision through one eye we went through he'll and everything started with Doctor Swinger. Doctor Carrastro end taking care of her in her last year a very affordable and honest eye doctor in West Palm. Highly recommended.

Dr. Proietto is amazing. She is exactly what she would want in a veterinarian during the time when you are freaking out about your baby's eyesight. She was kind compassionate and caring. She answered all of my questions and I had a ton of them, and I felt super comfortable and reassured afterwards. Dr. Diaz, was so knowledgeable and caring and took the time to explain everything to me for as long as it took. I even called days before surgery just to make sure I understood everything. And he still spent a lot of time on the phone with me going over everything again. I am beyond grateful to both of them for helping my baby see again and I don't think there are enough words to thank them enough! ?

I am very disappointed about the medicine prices for my dog. When I got home, I checked the prices online, and all of them were marked up at least 350%. I will do and pay anything for my dog, but i feel like they were taking advantage of me and, I guess, all the people who take their pets by charging so much, taking advantage of our situations.

From the front staff and the back staff and all the doctors, just give the best service to the animals everytime we are there. Knowing they are super busy, they still make us feel like we are their only concern at the time and slow down to listen to our concerns. Great team here!!I would recommend them paws down ?

I have a good experience by bringing my Dog to this clinic, staff is friendly and understands pet owners feelings, they are sympathetic and understand how a pet owner feels, the Dr. Laura Proletto was very knowledgeable, she explained everything clear and it was very easy to comprehend my dog's condition. I did not mind to pay a hight fee for a doctor's visit, my dog deserves the best and honestly I will bring my dog again for a check up in 4 months as recommended by Dr. Proletto.What bothers me is the following:Dr. Proletto recommended a multi-vitamin Vision supplement, trusting the professionalism and honesty of this company I accepted the Rx and they charged my card for $115. once I arrived Home and checked the receipt there was a note at the bottom specifying no refund for medication. by checking in amazon the same medication is priced $39. us dollars. This office charged me more than 200% of the Amazon price.I consider this a rip off and an abuse to patients.I do not understand the reason why such a nice group of people could be so greedy when it comes to Rx without having any compassion for a pet owner. and on top of that do not accept refunds. it is unbelievable

My baby oops a Daisy hurt her eye and the Coral Springs office was open on a Sat Thank God. They were wonderful to her and she is healing with the surgery and eye drops. The staff was very caring:)

Staff in Coral Springs and Ft Lauderdale are Nice and empathetic. Having said that, the facility outsources income calls answering and the calls are either not answered or it takes them over 15 minutes to answer income calls. How a facility which provides surgery can act in such a negligible way is beyond me. My dog had a surgery in CS back in June, during the recover period a few times I’ve tried to get a hold of the clinic, but the answering services would not pick up the phone.Fasting forwarded, my dog had an emergency on Thursday (rupture), I was asked by the ER Hospital to take him to Animals Eye Guys 1st in the morning. Since I had no appointment scheduled I started calling at 8 AM to make sure they had someone on site. I was on hold for the entire time I was driving to the Clinic (20min) and no one picked up.A few days later my dog was acting strangely. I called the generalNumber for Broward County, no one answered so I called his general vet, they put me on hold to try to get a hold of someone at the Animal Eye… Ft Lauderdale clinic and no one picked up the phone.I will finish the follow up appointments, but will not have my dog continue care at the facilities. A. Clinic that won’t answer calls is no good.

The staff and doctors are very friendly. The doctors are very knowledgeable and compassionate. However, the first visit is always expensive. But, they also accept Care Credit, which is wonderful!

Jennifer answered the phone when I was freaking out about my dog! She immediately got me an appointment within less than 24 hours and helped calm me down to make sure I felt okay until my appointment. She was so sweet and kind and worked with me and was so knowledgeable. I am so happy with the customer service that I received here!
