I will start off by expressing that the staff at ACCC was very compassionate and informative. They provided hope and everything to be expected with radiation treatment for our beloved dog. The nurses were genuinely kind and patient with my husband and I. The Doctors were kind and respectful. This is not to slander the Doctors but unfortunately, our dog lost a fighting chance and the battle. I previously had put a review up about our beloved dog’s experience and was contacted by the Doctor and asked to please take down the review, “it is not good for them”. He said he was personally hurt. I cannot describe the pain and hurt we feel. I was also told “they did everything they could do for our beloved dog”. This is not true. My conscience is really bothering me and I feel very hurt, and torn up emotionally. If that is the case, then why did they highly recommend radiation? Our dog, was diagnosed on 04/16/2024 with Oral Melanoma. We had an initial consultation with an oncologist on 05/20/2024. We were told on our next consultation with the radiologist/oncologist “he has a chance”. It may not be a long life expectancy, it could be 9 months, a year, it could be less. It’s cancer, let’s face it. I was told by doing radiation, I can say “at least I tried”. We proceeded with the 1st step, a chest X-ray. The Cancer had not spread. We proceeded with the next step, the CT scan on 06/26/2024. We were asked to administer a heavy dosage of prescription drugs the night before and in the morning prior to bringing him in for the CT scan. Our dog was eating, pretty much being his normal self before this day With anesthesia and these drugs, he had to take for the CT scan, he was out of it for more than 24 hours and not much better afterwards. He went downhill after the CT scan. He no longer wanted to eat, not take his treats, nor touch his favorite toys. His eyes had a gooey discharge. We had to get a prescription from our primary veterinarian to help with this as well as an appetite enhancer which helped very little. He became depressed we believe. We tried everything. It was heartbreaking watching a happy dog turn into a very sad dog. We were also told he snapped at one of their medical assistants when they attempted to put an E-collar on him. Our dog became agitated. He has underwent Pereneal Hernia surgery when we first adopted him - no issues reported, no restraints used. He has been to our primary veterinarian many times, sedated - no issues reported, no restraints used - no issues reported. Granted, it was a large tumor in our dog’s mouth, but then our hopes should not have been raised if they were not going to move forward with radiation treatments. Our dog is people friendly, loves attention and being petted. He has never bitten anyone as long as we have him. I was informed that unless he was “zoned out” prior to a scheduled radiation treatment, they would be unable to treat our dog. My husband and I are not strong enough to physically carry our dog, feeling like dead weight, into ACCC “zoned out”. He is a large breed dog, not a lightweight. The prescribed drugs were to be administered in addition to the anesthesia, upon receiving a radiation treatment. He was to get 6 treatments, 2 a week for 3 weeks. If our dog could not get past the CT scan, given the details at hand, how would he ever get through radiation? We are in debt now, and emotionally distraught. If the professional, medical opinion at this point was “they did all they could, he has a large tumor” . Then why were we lead on with false hopes from the start with ACCC to get radiation? What we did receive was Condolences. ACCC has our money, we have a broken heart. Our dog had to be put to sleep on 07/08/2024. It was the hardest thing we had to do.

The Doctors were quite kind and gave us extremely clear information on what, most likely, our pet is suffering from. The Doctors provided a logical plan for next steps, including tests and biopsies to help select the best treatment plan. The Support Staff were excellent as well.

Fort Lauderdale location is very eloquent, they have a bad habit of discussing the issues with the pets in the middle of the reception area, no privacy.

Dr Williams lack of compassion, kindness and respect was outrageous. I still remember that day, when I asked her if we can have a conversation with my husband regarding my cat. And she refused and even told me she didn't have time...but the clinic was getting paid and paid.. so horrible! What a horrible experience!

I recently had the experience of taking my dog Nitro to Animal Cancer Care Clinic, and I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care we received. From the very beginning, the communication from both the staff and doctors was great. They were always available to answer my questions, provide updates, and explain the treatment options thoroughly, ensuring I felt informed and confident in the care Nitro was receiving.
The clinic's positive energy created a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere and it's nice to see that the veterinary staff shows gentle care to each pet that checks in.
Animal Cancer Care Clinic exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, dedication, and heartfelt care. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-notch cancer care for their beloved pets. Nitro and I are truly grateful for the support and kindness we received during this challenging time.

Called this place to try to book a consultation and the phone rang for a while then you can hear someone hanging up, and yes I can tell when someone picks up and hangs up on you on purpose. Really unethical and unprofessional to do this to pontetial customers, at least come up to the phone and say "sorry we're busy can I put you on a brief hold?" smh

I brought my cat Lilly in today for a consultation after testing at my normal vet showed potential cancer. The vet staff was kind and informative, answering all my questions with respect and care. I look forward to continuing to work with the team to provide the care and support my baby needs. I know she is in great hands.
