Mary is an exceptional Pharmacist who truly has the patient’s best interest at heart. The entire staff always are friendly and helpful. My medicine is always ready when they give me my pickup date. The other Pharmacist and all the Technicians are always pleasant to see each month. Thank You Mary for always having the availability of medication longest I have ever had to wait was 24 hours. Unlike Walgreens or CVS the Pharmacist there are so out of touch with their limited inventory.Thank You,Ryan Tuminelli

Recently I had one of my medications changed and a new one added. Federal Express did not pick up the package the day it was requested. Mary the pharmacist was concerned and was willing to bring it to my house. That is outstanding customer service. I also want to thank Anna and Keith who also during helped. I did receive the package the next day.

Mary is awesome! I recently transferred over to AHF sunrise from WALGREENS and I have to say that I am extremely happy with the Level of service from the entire staff including Mary the head pharmacist who is outstanding and who goes out of her way for her patients

This has been my pharmacy for many years now. I want to acknowledge the work of one pharmacist in particular, Mary. She's always been patient and kind, even when she has had reason not to. I'm sure she is valued by many more clients than just myself.

Getting your prescriptions filled is one of those mundane activities most people don't give a thought to and we get used to visiting a chain pharmacy where there's someone different behind the counter every time we go and all we want to do is get in and get out or better yet, just go to the drive-through. AHF Pharmacy on Sunrise Blvd changes up that whole game. The people behind the counter are usually the same and after a while, the pharmacists and other personnel know me by name and do everything and anything they can to make sure I have the meds I need, watch my refill dates and get with my doctor for new prescriptions on anything that's expiring. The location is convenient and parking is never a problem (unlike their Wilton Manors store). And the best part is it can be fun because the pharmacy is inside their Out of the Closet Thrift Shop which sounds crazy, like who'd put a pharmacy and a thrift shop together but it works. I can't seem to go in there without picking up a polo shirt, pair of sneakers, a belt or some kitchen thing I didn't have before. Though it's AHF's pharmacy they fill every and any kind of prescription for everybody and all of it, pharmacy and thrift shop, supports the worldwide efforts of AIDS Healthcare Foundation in combating AIDS.

I am not posting one star because of the actual AHF pharmacy. I have always had an exceptional experience there: the technicians are fantastic, polite, friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to be helpful and make the situation best for me and Out of the Closet is pleasant shopping experience if you are waiting on your refill. My rating is based on an experience I had today in hopes I'm possibly heard. I am leaving FL to be in IN for at least 6 months helping my parents remodel some houses for renting. We are leaving very early tomorrow morning and just to be sure I didn't have any issues with my medication, I called for a refill. Wilton location didn't have part of my scripts so she was kind enough to call the Sunrise Blvd location who filled it. I left my house at 6pm but due to traffic, I called them ten minutes before they closed to let them know that I was cutting it close but I would be there for my refill. The technician was kind enough to call back to inform me that they were closing 5 minutes early. I got a little upset because I was under a lot of stress and it made no sense to me that a pharmacy would close early. I asked why and she informed me that it wasn't the pharmacy but store that was closing and they wouldn't let me in. She said she would go and inform the manager and I thanked her profusely. I'm sure she did put in a word but apparently the manager needed a martini more than I needed my medication. I arrived in the parking lot at 6:59. The lights were off, the pharmacy shutters were pulled down and there was no one in sight. They had closed *5 minutes* early. I do not know the circumstance that would provoke a business to close with only 5 business minutes left, however, I cannot imagine that some back up plan wouldn't be in place in case a manager had some type of emergency. I do know that, whoever made the decision was not acting on behalf of AHF as a respected business whose standard is to serve to the best of their ability. I would be happy to change my review and rating if I were given an explanation and assurance that this experience would not happen to others in similar circumstance as I have just described. Thank you

I work for AHF..and this location is conviniently located in the Out of the Closet thrift store..you should visit get tested for free and shop theynhave fabulous things in the store...when doing this you are contributing to a great cause.
