Today I went to AHF with a urinary tract infection. It began the day before last and I told them all about it. They took blood and urine samples which took forever to collect, and then told me they would get back to me with the results in three to five business days. This is a Friday, so 3:00 to 5 business days from now I could be in severe shape. How do you let somebody walk away with no treatment in that situation? This is also shocking because I've come here before with the same symptoms and gotten treated immediately. I'm just baffled. This was potentially dangerous to my health, and my primary care physician agreed. He gave me antibiotics immediately.

I had cancer in 2007 and was sent to Northpoint for a primary. I continued with Dr Colon. I had insurance and I was getting very good care. Then Dr's were coming and going and I had 4 different Dr's so I left and went with Dr Bartczak that used to work there. Everything was great until I was laid off from my job and went to AHF to see if I could get one month of medication because I didn't want skip a month and hopefully find a job with insurance or get insurance by then. I had to apply for ryan white, of course I didn't qualify so they set me up with marketplace to find insurance before I could get any services. Well if I got insurance then I wouldn't need AHF and could continue with my Dr. The point was I only needed ONE month medication. I am very disappointed with the treatment they put me through. I guess if they can't make money on you you will be denied services. Thanks for the lack of care and quality of care you gave me. Threw me under the bus.

Wow since don’t even know what to say about the difference from going from behind the medical offices by emergency room to now the new offices at Medical Arts Center at 6333 N Federal Highway. I have been going to AHF for over 10 years since 2013 and both the Doctor and Pharmacy side have slipped by the waist side. The efficiency in losing medical records or stuff like medical clearance letters needed for surgeries is just incredibly careless now. The Pharmacy i have never seen anything like it. My Doctor always gives me 2 narcotics pain prescriptions each time i go to an appointment. I have always turned in both copies when i go for the other one to be kept on file for next month. In the past for years and years on that 2nd month i never even had to ask on that 2nd month i could just show up 8:30am on that day and AMY, best AHF Head Pharmacist you had or ever will have forever. Now for example i last filled on Sept. 14 and handed in a prescription for refill Oct. 11. Well now on the 2nd month i always get either “out of stock” or even sometimes told “can’t find on file “ till they then come back and say found it. I never seen having such an issue getting 1 medication filled. Its like trying not to fill it cause hydrocodone is a popular medicine for a big Pharmacy like AHF to coincidentally hear “out of stock” especially when you know the prescription has been sitting there on file for one month. Very disturbing how disrupting people lives who have had enough stress in hospital makes even worse past 10 days plus had their Mom pass away just little over month ago is stressful. I might add that the head pharmacist accused me of a bad attitude and no its simply called you have to give respect to earn it not like you told me yesterday after 10 years coming here “ you don’t like it go somewhere else i am not going to entertain this hassle and I won’t”.

To get to the point the point and save you from a long story. I've been going to Northpoint for 13 years, and since my doctor retired, the office went down hill quickly. Back in September in Central Florida I had live saving surgery with a colostomy. It's been an emotional time, and I asked for them to find me a therapist. Not one until my last visit. Dr. Henery is a good doc, but is flighty when getting things done. I wanted to meet the new doctor as a back up if Henry wasn't available. My 9nam appointment, I sat in the office for 45 minutes and no one popped a.head in. I just had major surgery 2 weeks prior with a large open incision. So I figured the new doc would look at it. His name is Dr Shwarma, and he did nothing. They called it a wellness check. The only wellness I had was a.nurse coming in asking me questions about my mentality and how I felt. Then an angry Shwarma walks in and never came within five feet of me. He didn't ask me anything, check my lungs, and refused to look at my wound. I had an infection that got bad by the time I say my surgeon the following week. I in my heart feels that he was prejudice against me for being Jewish. I'm not a difficult patient, but i I expect things to be done when they say they are. They kicked me out for being difficult I think. They had the balls to say I have been difficult lately, but I said in response that I haven't been all these years and yet the past year, you went way down hill. I got a letter from my insurance shortly after that Henry doesn't take my insurance. I went to AHF Downtown and they said that's not possible sine the organization takes it. So a lie and I believe they kicked me out. So if you want an adequate doctor or a racist against Jews, I would recommend Northpoint. If not. Another AHF office.

I have mixed feelings about leaving this review. This is the clinic of last resort for those who have no other options available to them and serves a vital community need. The overworked and mostly kind staff do their best but the truth is that unless you have HIV and other STD's there is very little medical attention or patient care available here. For garden variety medical care look elsewhere. You'll find nothing but frustration here.

The professionalism here is horrible and the case workers are even worse. I could write a small book about how bad these people are at actually helping you in my 3 years here I've been let down and left without help so many times it's sickening.

Very dissapointed. I've been a patient there since before they took over. I've called twice to make an appointment for a physical. The first call I was told I would receive a call back to make an appointment. After waiting several days I called back in left a message in their voicemail. I never received a call and now I will be going to a new doctor.

This pharmacy finally has in there records to mail my prescriptions. So Ydid I recd My Rxs by mail. But they missed one prescription. When I called and told them, they finally found it, and right before hanging up I made sure to say, now you are going to mail this, correct? " clerk said Yes. So the next Day, I'm sleeping and I get Constant Knocking on my door. The point is, I sleep in the day. Regardless of the reason. This delivery person kept constantly knocking. My neighbor lady told me he asked if I was home. She replied Well his car is here. So apparently that instilled even more knocking. The point is, why can't this delivery person simply leave when no one answers. He's knocking as if there is a fire and I have to get out or be burned alive. It is irritating as Xxxx. I have had it with pharmacy. And then, they never apologize or admit they are sorry.

If you get a serious infection or need more than bloodwork they would rather pass the buck and send you to hospital costing thousands.

AHF Northpoint pharmacy has been my go to pharmacy since they opened inside the office of AHF Northpoint. They have a very friendly and professional efficient staff and outstanding pharmacist who genuinely have your health and best interests at heart. Over the years they have become a vital resource and members of my health care team. I'm very grateful to them for all of their hard work and most of all their friendly compassionate and empathetic qualities that they have always treated me with. I couldn't be more pleased and I thank them all very much for their exemplary work.
