That was the last time I will be staying in this hotel. On the night of 11/16, the hotel lost its power due to a big storm. We were forced to sleep without AC for the entire night. You can say I'm being unreasonable; storms happen. However, every other hotel and place around the hotel restored their power much sooner. I believe they had another emergency generator (other than the one running emergency lights in the hallway) that didn't start correctly because the lights flickered a few times but then went out again. They charge a $10 fee a day for parking; it's just a hidden fee to charge you a little extra. They have a big parking lot, and it's not like there is another option for you to park elsewhere. They count on you ignoring it during the booking.Hotel constantly runs out of breakfast, and they struggle to replenish it quickly. The place is also infested with roaches, but at that point, it was the least of our concerns.

Hotel is 2 stars but should be 1 star! The maintenance staff is more concerned with being pretentious security then maintenance. This place is absolutely screwed up! I cannot believe they are getting away with the things they are ignoring to do. Even having the Marriott name be Franchise doesn't motivate the owner to get it right. His name, I was told, is Taj. Well Taj, your place is no Taj Mahal!!!!!

So my first review I don't know where it went to but I wasn't going to let this one go listen first and foremost I believe customer service is the nerve system of any hotel gag and i will I tell you Kayla at the front desk Sunday October 29,2023 made me believe there is still great service out in the world besides myself lol jk. I actually work in customer service I know when it's over and beyond and miss ma Kayla at the front desk from the first to the six phone call before I got there she was helpful and as sweet and understanding as a front desk assistant should live to give everybody on the regular or anybody should give in any job where you have to address other people and I felt blessed to even be on the phone with this great assistant cause not only did she get me a corner room my first choose when I got there but she did above that cause who told her I like to be up high not her putting me on the top and I didn't even ask but you know when I tell you I could cry how she got me just over the phone I was living. She couldn't see but I was blushing and they to hit me hard I got a earlier check and the deposit babe Fairfield oh y'all fair alrite cause I never have been to any hotel where the deposit was cut in half of what I normally pay which is 100 dollars I told this was coming and I and my guest had a great night I will be back look for and thank you thank you miss kayla dont you ever change what you are doing in that head of yours cause it got me booked and ready to come back .

Although the staff was very kind and friendly, there were a number of issues at the hotel that could not go unmentioned.Unfortunately, my bridal suite (for my wedding) had a broken AC unit the entire weekend, which left myself and my bridesmaids sweaty whilst trying to get ready for the wedding day. Maintenance came to check on the unit and told us they would return before we left to our wedding venue to fix it but they never returned in time. It left the entire getting ready experience for me very disappointing, as you can imagine one would be without proper A/C.Also, many of the hallways in the hotel were broken and it felt like a sauna. Which we made aware to the staff but nothing changed while our stay from Friday to Sunday of that weekend. It remained extremely hot throughout our stay.In addition to poor AC units, several of my guests had to change their room either because of bugs/ants infestation or wet carpet due to ac vents leaking. To be honest, the hotel was not suitable for guests to stay in and our stay at the Fairfield was underwhelming and not worth what we paid for. Our entire hotel block was quite displeased.

Service was good, rooms were clean, i just wished parking spots were a little bigger as my pickup truck barely fit in the spots, but overall, great experience with this hotel.

Very large rooms. However wall unit does not cool down room enough. Cleanliness is 3.5 out of 5. Pool 2.5 out of 5 for cleanliness. Staff all very friendly. Breakfast has limited selection for kids for breakfast (no pancakes, no oatmeal, no waffles, no pastries)

A nice hotel. Looks comfortable and clean. Only three towels in the room although we were 4 guests. Was woken up by a "fast and furious" type activity taking place at 1.30 am in the vacant lot next to the hotel...

Average hotel. Good breakfast for US. First they charged some food that we didn’t take, but finally they removed it from our bill.

The lobby was beautiful and staff was very helpful. The rooms were cozy with enough space for 3. The second floor hallway was very warm when getting off the elevator, but temperature in the rooms were great. My only issue is parking. The parking lot fill up really fast at sunset. Trucks with boats and jet ski's are taking a minimum of 4 parking spots, sometimes more by parking sideways. There is a open grass space/lot for that type of parking, directly next to the concrete parking lot. We all pay the same $10 per night for parking but there should be a rule to have boats and semi trucks park on the grass area. Their $10 is stretching much further than mine with blocking off more than 1 parking spot.

This is a convenient accommodation if you are visiting Keys, Everglades and Miami area. Rooms are clean, spacious and new. They have a good breakfast spread. AC machines are kind of loud but it won’t stop you from sleeping. I spent 3 nights and each night I came back to room being super tired after visiting places. So you’ll be knocked out the moment you jump on the bed despite the noise of AC machines

Subpar Marriott experience. First room reeked of human urine. We immediately walked out and got another room. Second room still had the smell but not as strong at least, so likely a cleaning product or ventilation related. Only 3 towels for 4 guests. Breakfast at 8am was mostly out of things like yogurt and the “liege Belgian waffles” container had colorless limp lukewarm Eggo waffles. Black hand stain on white wall in room. Looking at cancelling our stay for way back from Keys and staying someplace else instead.
