Scott Shipley is a skilled jeweler with a very nice store. Great selection of jewelry there, and he knows how to work with vintage pieces as well. We’re very happy with his work and will be returning with all of our jewelry needs.

If you are planning on taking any jewelry repair to Shipley's Fine Jewelry Store in Fleming Island I urge you to think twice. The store came recommended by a friend so on 2/23 I took in a ring that was too big to have it re-sized. The lady there helped with putting all the different sizes on my finger. I certainly did not know what ring size I wore. When I picked up the ring on 3/6 it was too big. The owner would not re-do the ring unless I paid another $60. I left but wrote him a letter that day asking him to reconsider and make it right but as of this date 3/19 I have not heard a word from him. I don't call that good customer service and would not recommend anyone go there for service.

My husband’s love language is gifts and his favorite place to shop is at Shipleys. The staff is amazing if they don’t have what your looking for they can make it!! I’ve also had pieces repaired and they had it finished so fast. Ask for Kim!! She’s the best.

I recently had an amazing experience at Shipley's Jewelry and I cannot recommend them enough!The staff at Shipley's went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect pieces. They even helped me choose a diamond for my nose ring, which turned out to be absolutely stunning. I also had the opportunity to browse through their collection of vintage jewelry and found some unique pieces to wear on my trip to Nashville.I received pearls and diamonds for Christmas, and I was blown away by the quality and selection they had to offer.What impressed me the most about Shipley's Jewelry was the level of customer service they provided. The staff was always attentive, never pushy, and genuinely interested in helping me find what I was looking for. They took the time to educate me about the different types of pearls and diamonds, and patiently answered all of my questions.If you're in the market for jewelry, I highly recommend visiting Shipley's. Their exceptional customer service, quality products, and extensive knowledge make them stand out from the rest. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Went in to purchase 1ct diamond earrings for my girlfriend and left with the earrings that I wanted and even added a pearl necklace because the work and service was so impeccable. The team, Scott & Kim are so accommodating and knowledgeable that I felt extremely comfortable purchasing another beautiful item that I wasn’t familiar with. Thank you both for an amazing experience and I will only get my jewelry from them going forward.

We came into Shipleys was Williams and really sad they left my family did a lot of business. So my first time there was not impressive.. We brought my wife’s wedding ring to be sized. The guy was awesome he said 60 to size and he talked us into getting it cleaned or something. He said 85I said great price. Had to come in the following week was not ready said it was next in line. I said cool no sweat. Than the following day Friday we will not be here and not back till Tuesday . I was cool with that. We are very understanding.Than my wife comes in today to pick up ring . The lady says it will be 155My wife calls me I told her no it’s 85 they told usLady was rude didn’t say sorry nothing rude rude rudeThe day we came in she had a attitude like her and the guy were in a fight against each otherThe bad thiing is I’ve lived in Fleming island all my life . I m the biggest word of mouth and for my wife to be put in that situation is crazy. Not about the money if it was 155 should have let us know. The woman behind the desk is not suitable for retail and customers

I had a fantastic experience here. I needed a family ring resized as a surprise for my husband, and I was amazed by the exceptional service I received. Not only were they able to accommodate my request, but they also completed the resizing in just one day!Kim and Scott are incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. They listened carefully to my request and understood the sentimental value of the ring. The level of care and attention they put into the resizing process was impressive, and the end result was flawless.When I presented the resized ring to my husband, he was overjoyed with the perfect fit and beautiful craftsmanship. The quick turnaround time allowed me to surprise him sooner than I had anticipated, and it made the moment even more special.Highly recommend!!!

Not what I was expecting based on previous owners. We had a watch to be sized and necklace to be fixed. Greeted politely and quickly. Listened to our issues and smiled and said not a problem. . Fixed quickly and not a big cost. Went to another jewelry store for jewelry needs but now we are back. Awesome job sir and ma’am. We will see you again. Thank you

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this store.On November 14 I purchased a sterling silver, rhodium plated 22 inch necklace for my son’s birthday. The day I purchased it I explained that his skin is very sensitive to jewelry and I hoped that this would work for him. The jeweler told me that if the necklace is rhodium plated he will not have a reaction to it because no one is allergic to rhodium. The necklace was $480.Within 2 weeks of the purchase I stopped at the store and let him know that my son has developed a nasty skin rash and we are trying to see what has caused it. The Pharmacy Tech thought it might be shingles. He asked his doctor about it and his doctor told him that saying “no one is allergic to rhodium” is not true and that it appears to be allergy related. I told the jeweler at that point we were waiting for it to clear so that we could try wearing it again to see what happened. After 2 weeks he tried to wear it again. Within 2 days the rash was back. We are now into mid-December. We waited another 2 weeks and went back to the store the first week in January.When we went in, I was not asking for or expecting to get a refund. I was only requesting that we be able to exchange it for something else that would work and, if he had nothing for my son, that I would be happy to pick something out for myself and put the cost of the necklace towards the new purchase.I was told quite strongly that his store policy is clearly stated on the receipt: “All sales on Jewelry are final. In-stock merchandise may be exchanged within 30 days of original purchase for store credit only. No returns or exchanges on custom orders or special order parts/merchandise”.He then told me that since we were beyond the 30 days there was nothing he could do. I reminded him that I did come into the store to let him know that we were having issues with the necklace. He proceeded to tell me that he has never heard of anyone being allergic to rhodium.After some discussion I said, fine, you have nothing in the store for my son so let me pick out something and use the necklace as a credit toward the purchase. After asking what I was looking for (white gold or platinum) he let me know that due to the holidays he had nothing in the store in either category. I said fine, give me your catalog and I will order something.At this point he told me of his “other” store policy which up till this point had not been mentioned before. Apparently, if you purchase something from him and want to exchange it, you can only exchange it for something that is currently in his inventory in the store! Therefore ordering something from his catalog was not allowed!At this point, we left the store with the necklace and me telling him I would never shop there again or recommend his store to anyone. Be aware! He owns the store; it is his store policy; and apparently there are no exceptions to his policy.Since then we have taken the necklace to area pawn shops and other jewelers and were offered a max of $15. We’ve been told it is too magnetic or just not real and it had too much filler metal to actually have a pawn shop even consider buying it. A reputable jeweler in the area suggested never buying jewelry from a retail stop.I guess I learned my lesson the hard way who I should deal with and who I shouldn’t. Obviously this shop is on and will remain on my DO NOT EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN list.

Jewelry stores are not a Man's favorite place...if you get my drift. I have been to Shipley's multiple times now. They have been kind, helpful and timely in all instances. You are slightly changing my mind Shipley's.....thanks
