The staff is friendly and helpful. The aisles are narrow and full of items for sale, making it difficult to navigate about in one of their provided electric carts.
UPDATE: The staff is friendly & helpful IF YOU can find them. The only place I get immediate service is the meat counter, probably because they have high-priced items & make money there..... The fresh food deli people are nice except for one blonde who is extremely rude. BUT I have to raise my voice & call for help from the deli. I could be there a while if I didn't...... I use 1 of the 2 provided electric scooters. The electric scooters are kept parked in a place that makes them EXTREMELY hard for a handicapped person to get to. Where they park their electric scooters is probably AGAINST the Americans With Disabilities Act..... (They put a couch for lounging in the place where the scooters used to be & decorated the area with fake plants.) Rude on their part...... They really seem unwelcoming to handicapped people with their restricted electric scooter access and narrow, crowded aisles.... The check out cashiers are always helpful to me, though. Sometimes, there are not enough cashiers, but a cashier will always help me to my car. Sometimes, I don't even have to ask for help. They volunteer.
In summary, it's an ok place to go. They run some good specials on good quality food. But they are not electric scooter friendly.
If electric scooter friendly is important to you, go to the Hibernia Publix. They have a LOT of free scooters. Like maybe 8. They have easy to navigate aisles, too. Somebody from Whole Foods needs to go to the Hibernia Publix and take lessons on how to treat people who need electric scooters.

The meat side is really good. Staffing has improved and is friendly. Always a variety of prepared foods. Produce is sometimes on the verge of turning, but if you are using it immediately, it's not an issue.

Expensive groceries, but a unique selection with plenty of goodies. This is probably about the most calming, relaxing, enjoyable grocery store you are likely to encounter. While I wish their layout was like some of the other Fresh Markets out there, I always enjoy coming here.
Do visit if: You don’t mind a higher grocery budget, you want some unique brands and products, looking for a good butcher
Don’t visit if: You want Walmart prices or want all your familiar brands (they will have a few but not all) or want a “Superstore” variety.

We have our certain Fresh Market favorite items but it's all good stuff! And we love seeing Nancy she's wonderful.

They have the best prepackaged pasta options. The only place that has decent Parmigiano-Reggiano, and just a wonderful assortment of other cheeses and ready made meals.
I love the key lime granola they carry (allergen-free of common allergies), and so many items I love...
Ever tried the pillow? Go to the baked good area and order one. Always get extra fresh strawberries to eat with it.

We started to buy our meat on Tuesdays here so I was picking up a few other things. I would have thought with their prices things would be better. But don't fall for it. Over half their fruits and vegetables have Apeel on them. Apeel is bad for you. The guy that looked like he might be some kind of manager really didn't care that he was selling expensive poison. Look for their little sign telling you which items have the poison on them or better yet go to a store that doesn't sell your fruit and vegetables with the poison Apeel on them.

Tracie in the floral department is absolutely amazing! And Jennifer, the manager went above and beyond the call of duty. DoorDash screwed up a huge order of mine, but Tracie and Jennifer made it right and went as far as making the delivery themselves. I could never speak high enough of what they’ve done for us. Thank you again so very much.

I have been shopping at this Fresh Market since it first opened and I always leave with more than I had on my list. Fresh produce, tender meat, delicious baked goods, it's all good! Thursday is my favorite shopping day. You can't beat $6 pizzas or buy one/get one nut breads. One of my favorites is the $5 shrimp cocktail. The shrimp are large and fresh, and they include a small container of cocktail sauce. Now, I have a problem though. The new containers they're using for the shrimp cocktail are nearly impossible to open! Last week I used two knives and a pair of scissors trying to get the top open. After at least 10 minutes of fighting with it, I finally cut a hole in the top and dumped the shrimp out into a dish. The next day I was going to open another one and since my husband was home I asked him to open it for me. He couldn't get it open either!! He ended up pulling the two sections apart with pliers! If there is a secret to opening these containers that we haven't figured out, I wish they would add instructions on the label. Otherwise, PLEASE go back to the old containers that you could actually open!

Love my Fresh Market visits! Coffee & pastries with Mom in their cute seating area is our happy ritual. Friendly staff & amazing sushi (custom bowls or pre-made rolls) make it a win. Plus, unique snacks & top-notch produce keep me coming back!

Crab Legs, Shrimp, Steaks a "Cut Above"! May/ 2024. Best fresh seafood in the entire area. Well worth the price, especially for special occasions.

Seems like anytime I go and ask any employee a question that I'm a nuisance. Asking the butcher to cut, trim, de-bone, anytime is a firm NO in my 3 experiences in the past month. Checking out is funny as you can stand there behind someone for 5 minutes, and another register opens and they call people that barely walk up. In the 6 years I've lived in Eagle Harbor I always leave there thinking "Why did I come here again?" Fresh stuff, deli is always awesome, just feels like no one wants to be there.
