Moccasin Slough Park is a nice little playground, especially for big kids, featuring a merry-go-round. It has a short but nice and very clean walking trail, popular for morning walks and considered dog-friendly. The grounds are clean with no trash. Amenities include no shortage of benches and picnic tables, a small pavilion with tables and a grill, and a port-a-potty, though there is not a whole lot of shade. The park is seen as a wise use of land, suitable for a walk or a gathering like a birthday party.

I saw a man and boy in the parking lot. They stayed in 1 place a long time. The man was on his cellphone. That seemed strange. They were not near a car or the playground. I would have called the police but I didn't really have anything to report.

Well it was difficult today because there was a very bad car accident at HWY 17 and Pace Island and Raggedy Point Road. Multiple cars involved.
