I’ve had a good experience at Lux before, but my recent visit was disappointing. I called FIVE times in advance of driving out there, only to be met with a busy signal each time. When I arrived with clothing to consign, the middle age woman working barely acknowledged me. She couldn’t bothered to look at me , much less get off her stool and properly greet me . When I mentioned the phone issue, she dismissed it without offering to check or apologize, and her overall demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional.
It’s important for a business, especially one in retail, to hire staff who not only act professionally but also present themselves in a way that reflects well on the shop. Unfortunately, this wasn’t my experience during this visit. I hope the management considers this feedback and ensures that all employees meet a higher standard of customer service and professionalism.
Just finished reviewing the responses to bad reviews , now I’m expecting sarcasm disguised as customer service.

They have a huge selection of fine jewelry and costume jewelry.
They have great prices on clothes and shoes!

RUDE! A lady named Debbie answered the phone 3 times today when I called and I was NOT helped, or addressed. She picks up the phone and doesn’t say hello or mention the store name. She picked up the phone and continues talking to whoever is in the store, not sure if it was a co-worker, a customer or if she was on her cell phone. When I got her attention on the phone she says, “I’m busy right now -what do you want”! I ask to speak to the owner and Debbie says, “she’s not here you’ll need to call back” and hangs up the phone without saying goodbye or anything. I call back and she again is talking to someone else & doesn’t properly answer the phone or address me. I get her attention and I tell her, I just have one quick question. She says, “you need to call back I’m too busy” and hangs up on me again! This is the worse phone etiquette I have ever experienced & the most rude I’ve ever seen anyone behave in a very long time. I’m so disappointed in this place right now.

I ordered an item a month ago and it still has not been shipped although it has a tracking number. I have tried to contact Lux multiple times through the Shop app AND the store yahoo email and they will not respond. I'm beyond irritated at this point. I can see that I am not the only one who has had issues with this, so this store needs to just stop doing online sales if they are incompetent of doing so. The only email I have received was my order being placed.
Stay away from this store!
