Terrible management and customer service. They were better when I began a membership with them a few years back. I’m not sure if they are under new management but they have gone down hill. I would NOT Recommend.(Update 3/26/24) I unfortunately do not have the ability to respond to the below message. I have already attempted to contact the number below and the manager would not speak with me. She (Brittney) had the front desk screen her calls, and I was informed she was in a meeting. I have yet to receive a return call. They were hesitant to even reveal her name, which is odd for any establishment. This leads me to believe there are frequent complaints under this management which wouldn’t surprise me. I have been a member for a few years and I’ve never had any complications until now. I have never encountered Such Unprofessionalism. I appreciate the below suggestion. unfortunately, the person paying for a service to have the below responses sent, and the person providing said responses care more about reputation and customer service than the staff they employ do.

I received a gift card from my daughter who recommended Ashley who did an amazing job on my facial. I could not be more pleased with the great friendly serviced professionalism & expertise. I highly recommend Hand and Stone Fleming island to all looking for facials or a massage

Unfortunately, the staff is RUDE and Nobody seems to know what what they’re doing. I was told one thing and then a manager told me another thing it’s ridiculous.and the place is not very clean. They do not offer any type of rescheduling because it takes 10 or 20 minutes to fill out the iPad paperwork. .? It is ridiculous to get a massage and then have to do 20 minutes of Stupid questions like are you pregnant? Then, after filling out 20 minutes worth of paperwork on your iPad they told me that is reducing the amount of time I get for massage and they will not reschedule for another $80 And they charged my credit card and I got zero service.I l was rescheduled and now they said you need to pay again. Lol now they are making it difficult for a refund but I am suing them for my money back. Don’t be like me and get into this situation. Don’t pay them until the service is done.or better yet go somewhere else

I purchased a gift card for my sister for her birthday for a massage. She scheduled her appointment for a massage and on the day of the massage she was on her way and was told that the tech had an emergency so She would have to reschedule for the next day. She was told by Victoria that she would get an upgrade for the inconvenience. Once she arrived and was taken into the spa area, she was told by the technician that she was getting a facial. I contacted them to try to understand why they would give her a facial after she booked a massage. I spoke with someone who actually made the second reservation, but not the first. Needless to say, I did not get anything except oh, sorry that happened. She was charged an extra $10 for the facial and never received the upgrade for the inconvenience of having to be rescheduled at the last minute. Needless to say, I'm just disappointed.

Went to Hand and Stone in Fleming island for the first time. All employees were amazing. Positive vibes, very friendly. I had a male massage therapist for the first time (Elliot). He is amazing! Down to earth, calming, professional. He made me feel safe, comfortable and relaxed! Very happy with my experience :)

Awful. Brought 2 gift cards to get a message. Message was great. But, do not purchase gift cards from this company! My coworkers got me $140 gift card when my grandfather passed away. I went to use it, and they are saying they can’t find anything when they scan it. It came in a gift bag with a decorative card and tissue paper in it and everything. Long story short, I was told to call the manager tomorrow and had to pay out-of-pocket for my massage. The couple next to me also had an issue and they were also told to call tomorrow. Horrible experience and definitely will not go back there.

My facial with Ashley was wonderful. Check in great, nice atmosphere, terrific cranberry water. I thought I found my place...until check out.Hard selling for membership and everything else. I zoned out listening. If you have good services and products you really don't need to push so hard. It's definitely a turn off. I came out all relaxed and boom! It was gone. I'm sure many feel the same.

I have had mediocre experiences here in the past, but I was really looking forward to celebrating my anniversary with a gift of a couples massage at this location. The only request on file was that at least one of the masseuses be a female. The location called and let me know one of the masseuses no longer worked at the location, and they were changing masseuse. They did not inform me that this would mean having 2 males. Now, 2 days before the appointment, I'm informed all local locations are fully booked and we will only have the option of having two males or cancellation. I will not give them another chance. I was offered a cheap upgrade for a different day instead of making it right. This was the only day my husband and I have been available for something like this in over a year and likely the only day for another year and the appointment was made well in advance with only the one request made for personal comfort reasons.

This wasn’t the best massage I’ve had, but it wasn’t the worst. The massage therapist I had seemed inexperienced or not confident in himself doing massage. I said firm on the form but at some spots he was digging in my rib cage and my neck. He paused at weird times like he was unsure. Usually the arms and feet are done in the hour massage for the places I had been to, which he missed? He was super nice but he needs more experience and/or more confidence in his techniques. I didn’t get his card when I paid because I don’t think I would want him again. Again, he is a nice kid, just needs some work.

Be very careful they are a bait and switch operation that likes to add undisclosed fees. The services are sub par. I would never recommend them to anyone. Brace your self you are in for a long horrible ride.

I came in today to hand & stone for my first massage in years. I was definitely impressed! The atmosphere was very relaxing and stress free and beautiful! Taylor did an amazing job! She was absolutely phenomenal and passionate and patient. Caroline was amazing at the front desk assisting me with different options!Thanks for the amazing opportunity with your office ! can’t wait until my next appointment! ❤️

I’ve only been to this location one time, and my time was cut short even though I was there on time but just the front desk in the management is what gives me heartburn. They’re not friendly they’re not customer oriented. and God for bid to do need to close an account. They treat you like you have a two head. they’re not considerate whatsoever. I’m sorry I ever join this franchise as a member.
