I normally don’t review a store like this wanting to not appear touristy. But the items available are pretty nice. If you want to crab a couple of cool items for Christmas or to share with friends or family I can honestly say you will find it in one side or the other of this combo store. The staff are polite and helpful. Enjoy

While visiting Amelia Island for the first time and exploring the historic downtown area I found this gem of a shop! I met Jessie who was behind the counter and treated everyone who walked into that store like they they were family. I love that they have continued their grandfathers legacy - Capt. Bob - by running the store he opened. They have an amazing collection of nautical antiques and vintage items mixed with new and fun gift shop like items. I could have spent all day in there — there is some amazingly unique vintage pieces! And if you’re a shark tooth lover…wow — this is the place to checkout! Thousands (maybe millions) of shark teeth from all over the world. Such a warm welcome to one of the sweetest coastal towns. Thanks Jessie! It was great meeting you! I’ll be back for sure!

I always pass up this shop, assuming it's a children's toy store and it's really two shops- this one has both new souvenirs and interesting antiques. They also have a great selection of pirate costumes! Having lived in the Tampa area for over 20 years- I know pirate garb is a must for Gaspirilla! Mom and I were very impressed with this shop and she even got a little something to take home! A reminder not to judge a book by its cover, or in this case, a shop by its windows.

Love this store. I have been there a few times and the woman behind the counter is friendly and gives lots of good information on what is in the store. Cool place to pick up a souvenir or home decor that no one else will have.

Fun spot in downtown Fernandina to buy fun stuff for kids. We enjoyed looking around and the person working the register was very friendly. We enjoyed the little fish pond out front and all the pirate decor.

Cool spot to pick up some gifts on Amelia Island. I was drawn in because of the pirate statue and the fish pond out front. Ship's Lantern buys and sells shark teeth. They have quite a collection of them here. They have all sorts of other cool stuff here too. I personally love anything that has to do with the ocean and pirates. My favorite area in the store is the tide clock wall. They have so many cool looking clocks that I regret not buying one when I visiting. Maybe next time. Even if you aren't buying anything, this is a fun place to look around.

A kids delight! So many things to look at and buy... A little cluttered, but I recommend it.

We enjoyed this store so much that we made two trips there during our one-week visit to Amelia Island. My children absolutely love finding sharks teeth at the beach, so this store was like a jackpot of excitement for them, especially with all of the meg teeth on the shelves. The kind woman working at the front desk spent time telling us about the different kinds of shark teeth, where they tend to be found (by divers, offshore, specific states, etc.), and about how to ID some of the different teeth. She was informative, and we appreciated her taking the time to share her knowledge on our common interest.

Cute stuff but my friend bought a framed string art compass, and when she got home it was legitimately from Target. But you can bet it wasn’t sold for the Target price! Not a good look for your business.
