This thrift store used to have neat stuff... They used to sell furniture and then began overcharging for it. So people won't buy furniture there because whoever set the prices google for selling a piece of furniture and based sale prices on what they found through online pricing. So no surprise their profit margin tanked. Instead of still selling furniture at reasonable prices, they decided to stop picking up donations and selling furniture. Ergo, their donations dropped and they don't get a variety of new donations to stock. It has really gone down as a thrift to be on thrift shopping rounds. So sad.

Highly recommend! Have found many great bargains! Also, 100% is used for the shelter. Not for the CEO Bonus Checks!

I bought a bike here because the trails in town were really nice. It was an old, crusty bike and they wouldn't give me a discount. lol! That's ok, I enjoyed the bike and gave it to someone else who needed one. Fun times!

You never know what kind of treasure you will find if you don't visit a thrift stores. Everything from housewares to clothing. I found a couple of treasures. The price are what thrift store prices used to be. Everybody needs something or a gift through tout the year. Go to a Thrift stores first and are better for the environment. So before you go buy new try a thrift store in your community you are saving the planet and your pocket book.

Not much to chose from. I bought something just because proceeds go to help abused women and children.

This thrift store has gone downhill recently. They have converted to mostly clothes. They also jacked up the prices. Inventory is slow moving due to the higher pricing. I hope they get a new manager who can turn the place around. They also have a full men’s and ladies room, but put it behind a “employees only” door.

There’s another Purple Dove location in Callahan. Same place, different location. I just went to the to the one in Callahan and after being talked to in a tone as if I was bothering her, I put my stuff back on the shelf and walked out. It’s a shame that people have to talk to others the way they do when their profession is supposed to be helping others/customer service. I simply asked if I could set something on her counter and she pointed to a basket and said there’s baskets you can use thanks and the tone of voice was completely out of line…it was obvious that question annoyed her and she would’ve rather me use a basket than to use the little space on her desk. Maybe she thought because she said thanks it made her attitude acceptable. Little does she know I have chronic nerve pain and damage and both my hands have lost motor skills and shake uncontrollably. I couldn’t hold the wall decor around the store, let alone a basket carrying the wall decor inside of it. Let this be a reminder that you never know what someone’s dealing with, so be kind always. I was kind in return and said ok thanks and walked out after putting the stuff back on the shelf. I love the purpose of this place and what they do, esp being a DV survivor myself. But, I feel it’s very necessary to leave an honest review to let others know the poor customer service experience I had. I hope she was just having a bad day and doesn’t treat customers like this every day!!!!

This place supports a heartbreaking cause. They helped a dear friend of mine and I will always be greatful for that. The store has lot's of great items at very fair prices and the money supports women and children who have been punching bags in body and spirit.Take your cool stuff there to donate and find great stuff there to take home.
