La Sureña was the most amazing place to stop for lunch. All of the staff were so so nice, and the food was the most delicious latin food I've had.

Food was lukewarm. Was never checked on after we got our food from someone other than our server. The lady who brought our food seemed mad when I asked for refried beans. My fajitas didnt come with cheese, salsa or lettuce. Won't return. Taco bell is way better. Extremely disappointed.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming appearance - the food is ridiculously good, the service is quick and attentive, and the vibes are relaxed. This is now on my "must try" list for anyone visiting the island.

Amazing food. A big selection of groceries that you may not normally find at your chain stores. Each day has a special in addition to regular menu items. Next door to a brewery to grab a few beers after a great meal.
Parking: Large lot shared by a couple businesses
Kid-friendliness: As long as your kids are normal humans and not raging crazies you should be fine.

Some of the best tacos I've had (including in Mexico). Love the Al pastor but lots of other great authentic options. Rice and beans are delicious. Staff are awesome - friendly and fast. Place is pretty sparce and has funky attached "Latino" market which suits the authentic food just fine. Wish they sold beer but given how often its went probably just as well they don't!

Great authentic home cooked food. I had one steak carne w/mild verde and one pulled pork carnitas flour taco with verde . Six inch . They were as good as the best street tacos I’ve had .The star though were the add ons of brown beans and rice . The beans were cooked to perfection with I believe with pork . I added a bit of verde over the rice and beans . Somewhere around $9.90 total .Several families were eating and I noticed they have a $4.00 Cheese Quesadilla and chicken Tenders for kids.

The pupusas were absolutely amazing. I ate two and enjoyed every bite! The market has all kinds of wonderful staples to diverse your pantry. The owner told me a lovely story of teaching Spanish lessons during the pandemic. I will absolutely return for the pupusas on Saturday and to taste other menu items!

I was fortunate to break down right outside of Amelia Island and had to stay the night. When I went to find food on the main street it was all very fancy almost Rodeo Drive feeling. I was only looking for quick and yummy. As I was driving on the back side of fancy street I find this little place and decided this was the place. I went in and was so pleased. Super clean, very nice people and because I was so hungry after being on the road for 8 hours, broke down, towed in, and finally finding a hotel my hunger was great. I ordered chips and queso and 3 different tacos. They were very fast and was in and out in about 15 minutes. This food was so good I wanted to tell everyone if your ever in that cute little place I know you will enjoy this little bit of yummy!!

The Honduran Fried chicken was amazing and filling! This place deserves the rave reviews. The staff are helpful and enthusiastic to share the specialties of the house. I will definitely be back here and will get another hibiscus drink!
