The owner is an experienced ultra marathon runner and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of types and styles of shoes. She also knows how to recommend the right shoe for your foot and activities. The owner and employee are very friendly and helpful! Running clothes, socks, sunglasses and much more!

The employee was super gracious with her time. I told her I was new to running she helped me pick out the perfect shoe and explained in detail about which shoe she would recommend. Will definitely be back!

JM is awesome! She always knows exactly what will work best for my running needs. My newest purchase of Ultra shoes are wonderful! I wanted to go out the door to run as soon as I put them on. The special care JM gives to endure the right shoes, socks, and accessories work well to improve my performance and comfort goes well beyond what I expect. Mythic Running Company is the best running store in all the area thanks to JM and her staff. Thanks for making shopping so pleasant!

I came into this store in the spring and bought a pair of Oofas. The lady helping me was very personable, however the sandals she recommended grew as I wore them and are now too big. Still, I came in yesterday to get a new pair of running shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and am prone to blisters. I had waited to shop until the last minute and had to have a new pair so there was no time to go to Jacksonville. The woman helping me was curt and borderline rude. I told her I would never wear Brooks again and that was the first shoe she had me try on. After trying on several pairs I wanted to then compare shoes side by side, however she had put them all away and told me I would either have to go to another store or try a different brand. She offered me no information about any of the shoes. It was a thoroughly frustrating experience. Regardless, I still came back the next day to try out two pairs on the treadmill. She could not bring herself to say hardly two words to me. I bought a pair since I don’t think there is another store in town that carries Topo. It will be the last time I shop there. That’s sad as I try to shop local as often as possible.

This was my first time getting fitted for proper running shoes. Having ran for years with inadequate shoes, i debated with myself if it was worth it. It's absolutely worth it! I can run faster now and it doesn't hurt any more. The runner that fitted me was extremely helpful and patient.

Today was my first time ever going to Mythic Running Co. My husband gifted me a gift card for Christmas in the hopes of me finding some shoes that would help ease the discomfort of my plantar fasciitis. Jeanne Marie (this was the name on my receipt I made the mistake of not asking her for her name) was BEYOND helpful and patient and so incredibly knowledgeable. She explained everything in ways I could understand and really took the time to help me find a shoe and some socks that would offer me the right support. She was not pushy at all to make a sale like other chain store employees can get, she seemed genuinely interested in just helping me. I highly recommend going here especially if Jeanne Marie is working!

I am to Amelia Island and was completely unprepared for the weather. We looked up shoe stores nearby and decided to drop by. Unbeknownst to us, the Shoe Whisperer quickly identified a couple shoes to match exactly what I needed! I ended up getting both recommendations!!!
