I went to Cottonways in search of a dress on the casual side for my grandson’s wedding in July. My main concern was that it be cool and comfortable since it would take place in Southern California and the temperature would be warm. The first time I went there, Cindy went above and beyond to help me and I bought one dress and a neat necklace. The next day I returned and Kim helped me find two more dresses that I knew I would wear all summer here in Florida. Great shop - great clothing, reasonably priced!”

Cottonways is a local women's boutique store in Historic District of Amelia Island that sells cotton, batik, and silk clothing and accessories (e.g., fashionable jewelry, Monet print wallets, and fun handbag). In the back of the store, there was sale section where some items were $30 or 30% off. Deb was warm, friendly, and helpful. I ended up purchasing a durable hard shell taco purse. I can't wait to wear it on Cinco De Mayo, National Margarita Day, and/or Taco Tuesday's.

My husband and I were window shopping at Fernandina Beach this weekend and ran across this shop late in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they stay open until 9:30pm. I had been looking for summer clothes to wear on an upcoming vacation and this store was just what I was looking for!Tempestt was the sales lady who helped me and I cannot say enough nice things about her! I highly recommend her!! She was very helpful & knowledgeable about the clothing. But she was also one of the most pleasant ladies I’ve met & made my shopping experience really good!The only down side is that I dont live close enough to shop in person more often. However, I have looked online and will call the store tomorrow to order additional pieces because the clothes look and feel fantastic!!

I have been shopping here since it was Gauzeway. Love the clothes, even though a tad pricey, so I treat myself now and then. This visit, they had allowed a customer to bring her large dog in the store, who continually yapped. Salsa music, which I normally love, was competing with the doorbell, which is easily triggered. On top of all that, the clerks (who are super friendly and nice) were talking super loudly over all the other noises...ugh. I was trying to relax, shop and concentrate on colors, styles, etc. and it was not possible...I do love the shop, but they need to take all this into consideration...
