This museum has a lot of cool things you don't usually get to see, like the old soda fountain. We loved their interactive exhibits and scavenger hunt! Afterward, the boys got to get a prize from the pirate's treasure box! Their Florida history displays are very well put together and easy to follow around. This was definitely a worthy stop!

It pushes a fake woke agenda. Even talks of oceans rising which they obviously, look at any historic picture, aren't. It really doesn't help current black and white relationships. Lots of the pre historical information is obviously made up. And I think their historical info isn't correct. I know the person doesn't know where the St John's River flows.

Great little museum with great depth of Amelia Island history! Exhibits were very well done. One or two displays slightly blocked the narratives, but ok. All very well done. Fun Scavenger Hunt to help retain knowledge. Nice stop to see before touring the entire island.

Small museum with exhibits lacking an overall timeline. One section was regarding the old jail, another section regarding shrimp farming, etc., but overall lacking a connection between the exhibits. Also, interesting events like the building of the railroad were only covered on a very shallow basis. For $10 a person, it was overpriced. As an alternative, I would highly recommend the boat tour to Cumberland Island. On the tour, we learned more about the history of Amelia Island and the surrounding area.

Docent was just full of so much historical detail & facts

It's nice, but very small and kind of pricey. They have a docent program that provides a lecture, but even so, not sure 10 bucks per adult is a fair price for about five small rooms total of exhibits. Not a waste of time per se, but in hindsight I would choose something else to spend my money and time on.

Cute little museum. It's fun to go for a day trip to go look around. We also did the Christmas home tour while we were there. And it was just something to do different. But we enjoyed it. It's reasonably located close to the downtown area for a shopping and local restaurants. Great place to hang out. I would recommend this place anyone to have a good day. Or to even just go for a short visit.

Probably would have been better if they had a better docent. Was not very entertaining, yet. VERY informative. Almost too much so.

Small but well done and interesting museum of the area. There was a lot happening on this island over the centuries and it's cool to see how it changed hands over those many years.

We are from PA and visiting family in Yulee. We love Amelia Island and thought this museum would be a great place to check out. It had some great history lessons, and truth be told I had NO idea so much happened back in the day. It was very informative and interactive. I loved "stamping" our map as we navigated through the different areas. There was a cute little dress up area for littles as well. Even as an adult I had fun playing with the different things to open to discover stuff, things to smell, etc.
