“All I can say, is WOW! This is a great store to get gas, pizza, wings, and drinks! They have a great team! They make you feel like family every time you walk in. Ms. Rosie is the best person for the job. She is such a people person, and always has a smile on her face. I'm not sure what she is getting paid, but I'm sure it isn't nearly enough for the personal touch and customer satisfaction that she brings to the table! That store was definitely not the same when she was gone, but now that she is back, the place is much better. Definitely need to keep her there as long as you can!”
“Tate's is the greatest supermarket I've ever had the privilege of shopping. It has incredible prices (cheaper milk than anywhere else!) incredible customer service, and a wife variety. “Great people and great feed selection. This small town shop offers a full line of fuel to include non-ethanol and off road diesel, plenty of feed choices to include hay, has an ATM inside, and seasonly offers local honey, produce, and eggs for sale.”
“Only grocery store in town besides the Dollar General Market. Both are high on food. Have to drive to Dothan Alabama to get any competition on prices. The grocery store in Hartford Alabama is also owned by Food Giant. Tate’s Grocery store is the only competition there is for around 13-20 miles.”

“Nice store. I used to shop Slocomb dollar general store but their employees are not good at customer service. When one in wicksburg opens I can shop either hartford or wicksburg I am located center of all 3 stores but Slocomb will not get my business”

“I stopped by this Dollar general on the way home to see if they had any hot tamales. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. And of course they had the candy that I wanted. If you have been to almost any normal Dollar general, this is exactly the same, which is a good thing, anyway, worth a stop if you just want some snacks and some drinks on your way to your destination.”
