Don't go if you have your own financing. They don't want to accept credit union financing. The finance department probably doesn't get a kickback. Their response is "no one takes Suncoast". Yet every dealer I've gone to has taken it with open arms.

Horrors and tricks by used car dealerships are on full display here!
First contact was being told that a car listed on their website was “unavailable” but quickly informed that similar cars were available at a higher price of course. Next was a preoccupied salesman that couldn’t deliver on his own stated commitment to provide basic information by a time he stated he would. Next after no response from salesman I reached a “manager” by calling back following day who seemed to have some info from previous day and salesman such as stock number and delivery cost however when I requested detail final cost info sheet it was for a DIFFERENT car and of course higher price. Once seeing this I re-checked website for initial car and see that its price had increased $275. overnight. I reminded “manager” of issues with prev. salesman which caused delay until next day when the price increased…..
Manager provided a curt answer of basically—it is what is, if you don’t like it don’t buy it!
Which I won’t!!
Totally unprofessional, totally typical of slippery, shady practices employed by these operations that give them the poor reputation they deserve.

Awesome staff and service, especially Mike, who was very helpful and knowledgeable when I recently bought a Nissan Rogue from them. He went the extra mile to make sure that everything was good with my purchase.

Needs better management. Manager needs training on how to handle customers with issues and face them at the end of the service. Only wants to sell and no give service. We were kick out because they don't have enough people working and they close early even though online said they close at 8pm. Will not come back to buy.

They played the typical good guy/bad guy sales experience but overall it was very straightforward. They had an EV credit advertised on a car that actually didn’t qualify. The manager came over and explained to us how they were going to be able to lower the price by $400 to make it qualify. Other than the EV credit confusion at first, all else was easy. Time will tell, but at the price they’re selling off their EV’s it was a no brainer. Give them a shot.

I just tried to buy a truck from these guys. Well…I had to chase the salesperson and manager for 2 days to answer some questions so that I may mail the check to finalize the purchase of the vehicle. They still had not answered me. In the meantime, I kept getting charged the rental fee since it was a rent-to-buy deal. The only thing I kept hearing from these guy in this branch was: “we are busy”. Now, I am stuck with the rental fee for a truck that I really wanted but these guys were too busy to sell. The rent to buy process did not work for me because of the lack of communication and urgency from these guys. From my salesman to the branch manager. I will not be recommending Hertz sales to anyone.

I bought an SUV from them and they were kind enough to transfer the sale to my home state, which saved me money and allowed to to handle the sales tax, title transfer, inspection and new license plates all at once.

On Monday I contacted Hertz Car Sales and they ran my credit and said they would get back to me. Here it is Thursday and I have not heard a peep from them. Now I have a ding on my credit report as I go to another dealer to get a car. To pull my credit report which just fine and not hearing back is very unprofessional. To me it seems they could car less abut the customer and are only there for a paycheck including sales and finance manager. Now there is no way to remove this ding on my credit thanks to these inept so called Hertz professionals. I think they should be s scrubbing toilets at Hertz instead. A special thanks to Ryan B the salesperson who blew me off. I am going to HERTZ WORLD HEADQUARTERS TO MAKE A STINK until Gil West comes out to speak with me. Since he is running this lousy joint I will only speak to him.
