TOURIST BE AWARE – THIS SHOP DOES NOT LIKE TOURIST!!! Buyer Beware! We were at this Shell Shop around 10:30 am on Friday. A customer went in her shop and came out fast. I was sitting in our car when I felt a hit on the passenger side of my car. Then I felt another hit on the driver's side rear end! This old lady in a white SUV hit our car and quickly drove off. Open my door and walked fast around the building but she was gone!!!! Could not believe what happened. This old lady should not be driving and if she hits someone needs to stop!!! Her car should have damage too!!! Shop owner said she didn't know her but we could tell she had information and didn’t care about tourist. This lady was old and she only needed 3 shells, paid cash and talked with this lady, like she knew her, purchase took about 5 minutes! She is a regular customer who knew where to find her product and needed to get back home quickly.
We didn't buy anything here because this stop just costed us $1,000.00 deductible with our car insurance!!!! Thank goodness we could still drive home. We were visiting your area in Englewood and probably will never come back again!! So again, BUYER BEWARE - this shop doesn’t like tourists and could cause you a $1,000.00, too!!!

Sheryl's shop is just amazing!!! I wanted to buy so many things. I did buy a beautiful coral reef and a few other things. Sheryl is so awesome!!!! I think if I lived there we would be friends! She was so helpful with everything. She even gave me some sand dollars. I can't wait to go to her store again! This is a must see store. There aren't many in Englewood.

Beware this owner is the most unprofessional store owner I have encountered in 53 years. I have been a school teacher for 29 years and never treated a class the way she treated us in 15 minutes. My mother and I wanted a mother daughter day. We put down a 90.00 deposit and here is what happened. My mom parked wrong when we arrived. We were not allowed to admire work in the front of the store. As we entered the class we put our purses in the wrong place. My mom moved towards the table and was not supposed to. We tried to pick out some shells we wanted, she stood over us and picked some for us and then quickly told us we were done. We went back to design and I sat down to start and I again did something wrong, I moved my frame 2 inches to be able to work more comfortably. She said she hated when people didn’t follow the directions. My mom and I decided this was not fun. Asked for our money back. She said no. My mom went to the car upset. I explained to her almost in tears that we just wanted to have a fun time. I went back to get my mom. We entered again and to try again and I asked if mom and I could just sit back here without her hovering over us and have fun. She said no. I finally got my money back. She followed me to the car and said give me another chance I only slept three hours snd she was a covid long holler as she stated. Stay away. Miserable experience.

Large variety of shells, several sea fans & corral. I took her class in which we learned how to use resin with shells- nice results, & it was fun too!

Visiting from Missouri. Drove all the way out there, arrived at 3:15 and it's closed.... A long trip for nothing. Wouldn't go back because you can't depend on the 11-4 hours. Such a waste of time.
