Most of my experiences at this store are pleasant. Sadly, there are one or two employees that are not pleasant or professional. Unfortunately there is one employee that is constantly shortchanging customers. BEWARE ask for a receipt and count your change.On the other hand, if you are lucky enough to have Birdy as your cashier, you are gonna have a great day.

So today I walked into the store to buy lottery tickets in a drink and was overcharged by $8 when I brought it to the man at the counters attention he shooed me away I asked for my receipt and I stepped backwards and I counted up the total he was $8 off the first time I asked him for the $8 he literally shooed me away the second time I asked him for it he said no he counted on his calculator he asked me again how much he owed me I repeat again $8 he said no a third time he asked me how much he owed me and I said $8 and he handed it over and I left shortchanging people is a well-known way to make money this man working at the Shell station is doing this to people every single day please pay close attention to how much you give them and how much you don't want to be ripped off is a horrible feeling

A friend gave me a tv this morning but batteries in remote were almost blown up, so off I went to Shell, 2 blocks from my apt ?10 minutes after I found my remote would still not work, I took the 4 new batteries as well as 2 half blown, to show I didn't try to switch them around,. EVEN WITH RECEIPT, NOTHING STATING BATTERIES ARE UNRETURNABLE, SAME CASHIER AS 10 MINUTES AGO, BUT BRIE, MGR WOULD NOT ALLOW REFUND, SAYS SHE WILL NOT GET REIMBURSEMENT CAUSE THEY WERE OPEN?SEEMS AS THOUGH EVERY TIME YOU GO IN THERE, SOME TYPE OF ISSUE,. FROM TELLING YOU , YOU ALREADY CASHED A LOTTERY TICKET, YOU JUST SCRATCHED OFF, TO LOCKING UP THE BATHROOMS FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS IN THE NIGHT, NO MATTER,. VERY HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, NO BACKING THEIR SALES, IN MINUTES, SOL, SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DONT LIKE IT, TOO BADGO ELSEWHERE ATTITUDE ALWAYS??GOTTA END GIVING THEM MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!! I work at a coffee shop on the same block. The staff and new owner are amazing. Kind, thoughtful, friendly and I go in this store 5x a week. Over the past two months it seems the CBD products and even nicotine products have diminished in quality but as far as customer service, I wouldn’t go anywhere but here. If your from Englewood, they treat you like family. They remember you by name, and always treat you with respect and that is rare here in Englewood.
