Tool rental part of store is a joke! Horrible "customer service" by store manager. machine rented did not work properly due to incompetent employee not preparing machine nor proper explanation before renting out. Threatened by Manager of charge for damage to machine due to their incompetence is great customer service!Go elsewhere!Told staff machine did not work properly (reason I returned an hour later) staff admitted he didn't install part correctly! Did not offer any credit or anything for my time wasted!Reviews tell it all! Many 1 stars, rude unprofessional of a "manager"!

Best option for those things people need in our area that you just can’t seem find at Home Depot. Specialized selection geared towards us. As far as customer service I couldn’t give a $&@? If the employees don’t think I’m special. I’m assuming the don’t, but I’ve never really asked

The store is staffed with 3 stars for hospitality as the staff obviously has beef with each other. I’ve visited this store over 8 times this month. Each visit shows the same poor customer service skills for all of the many employees that the owner employs. Perhaps, everyone that works there are family members? As far as the store itself, I give 5 stars!!!! They have more hardware than most stores I’ve visited. As a contractor, and engineer; I love West Coast Hardware Store only because they have it all. (Minus hospitality)

The girl at the register with long dark hair is the most unfriendly person. She doesn’t say hello, charges your order, doesn’t ask if you want a bag, and Does not say Thankyou!!! She has zero customer service skills. It is like she is doing you a favor! The 1st time I chalked it up to maybe she is having a personal issue, the 2nd time she was almost quite rude besides being unfriendly. I won’t be back, Babes will have my business

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! The owner needs to re-evaluate his employees and get rid of the ones that need to find a job they either like or are away from people! Definitely not going to patronize this business again, there are to many other place to go for your hardware needs!!!

I am honestly extremely disappointed in this place. I have been coming here for years. Mainly for equipment rentals. Over the past year I’ve had pieces of equipment fail. Never did they come out and fix it or reimburse me. This last visit was extremely frustrating .i was screamed and swore at over something that was quite frankly the employee Vince’s fault. he helped load the machine, checked it told me to just turn the gas off and your good to go. The machine was never used that day because it never started. When I got back vince said he knew this was going to happen. well why would you let someone leave like that? Then stated yelling/swearing and stormed off telling me he’s got things to do other than work (it was on a Friday) how about a little guidance on things that are not so obvious.you can’t expect every person to know everything about every piece of equiptment. They simply cannot take responsibility, customer service is non existent. These people have literally stolen thousands from me and I wish something would be done to make these careless, rude employees responsible. It’s wrong. I see plenty of other people here having similar issues so why isn’t anyone doing anything to fix the issues? This is not how customers should be treated.Update to response: your employee looked the machine over on the trailer and okayed us leaving. He stated “just turn the gas off to make sure it dosnt leak” Then, when we got back stated that he knew this was going to happen. Why would he let us leave like that? Do you think that’s fair? You cannot expect every person picking these machines up know every small detail. We just load it how it has been loaded in the past when we go there. Last year we rented a stump grinder the track fell off. I called and was told to leave it there you’ll be by in a few days. We cannot leave it in a customers front lawn. I had to get a mechanic to put the track back on so we can finish the job and get it back to you. I was not refunded for that cost or the time lost.same with a lift that broke. You gave us a small one but we needed the large one so that did not work out. You’ve charged me a $100 for a few pieces of grass on a stump grinder. It has just been excessive. We do not have these issues at any other rental place. In regards to this current issue, I offered to pay the deposit to get it fixed and asked to have one for an hour just to complete the job you’ve declined and wanted me to spend another couple hundred to rent it again. I’ve paid the couple hundred to rent it, an extra $100 for the deposit that you’ve taken , plus now a new rental somewhere else. I will take some responsibility for being uneducated that you cannot slightly lean the machine backwards, but I do believe that is partially your supervisor mechanics fault for checking it and letting us leave like that. He certainly did not have to speak to us like that.

The rudest lady I’ve ever experienced in that store in 24 years I’ll not be back. Babe’s Isn’t that far across town? I know they have new owners in the past year or so but that lady that was supposedly in charge Saturday has zero customer service ethics. They seem to be fine, and all smiles when you are buying something but when you come back with a small problem, you are basically called an idiot. $8.00 and you’ve lost I loyal customer. By the way The one rating was because they didn’t offer zero or negative numbers.

I am a big fan of supporting local business and this is a GREAT place to support!! The staff is always friendly and very helpful. You can rent just about anything, from equipment to tables and chairs, for an extremely reasonable price. They also have Yeti AND Costa products. It is a win win, if you ask me!!

Overpriced Example: $13.00 overpriced on a bag of birdseed compared to hardware store down the street and even Walmart prices. $13.00 OVER!!!Would not honor shelf price sticker.Horrible customer service! Will never step foot in again.

Was very rudely spoken to by rental staff on several occasions about parking around the building. Also was rudely spoken to about entering an unlock entrance for that by fire code should be unlock during business hours, and they are way to expensive! I will be taking any of my business to Home Depot and I suggest you do the same.
