“I am handicapped with only one leg and a couple of hands that don't work real well. I use hand controls to drive and my van is my lifeline. Last week my van started to sputter and lose power. It was making a lot of noise near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. As soon as I got back home I made some phone calls. The good people at Ortiz Auto told me to bring it in and they would fix it. They diagnosed the problems, called me with their suggestions and the cost estimate. There are a couple of websites that tell you what the cost would be for a specific job and the price they quoted me was much less than what the average cost would be for those fixes.
I called them right back and gave them the green light to go ahead and fix it. That was last Tuesday and I told them I was in no hurry but I'd like to have it back for the weekend if possible. Much to my surprise, all the repairs and a test drive were done and I picked it up Thursday afternoon. (a full day before I expected it). They are a small company and had several vehicles that they were working on, in addition to mine.
I highly recommend Ortiz Auto. They're kind, considerate, and very fair. It's my hope that anyone who reads this critique will give Ortiz Auto a shot.”
