I was in the store on Saturday shopping for my Christmas and noticed a gentlemen who on is was a manager of some sort, touching his private area in front of customers. Is this appropriate behavior for someone who represents the store????? Very concerning and uncomfortable

Every time I have enter the new at home store in ellenington FL I engage with some extremely rude. Last time I asked a woman if she worked there her response "you see I have a mic on don't you. I had no idea what she was talking about and started to walk away when she said what do you need "? First off if I knew she worked there I would not be asking if she worked there. Then I was in there twice in last week both time I get a woman closer to my age 60 blonde hair long and she has to be one if the nastiest people I have ever encountered in retail yet. She tells you to be quite and moves you off her register she is throwing your stuff around. Just obnoxious and I intend to report her and the manager for allowing this behavior. I don't think I'll ever go back especially when you can go 1 mile down the road to homegoods and marshalls and get happy people to deal with. I am a professional decorator and I spend thousand every year getting stuff for our clients so this is absolutely unnecessary to deal with.

Horrible Customer Service. Went to At Home Wesley Chapel last Thursday 11/16/2023 to purchase a rug that was supposed to be in stock, my designer and myself could not locate. Their manager could not locate, but they say they have the rug in stock. Tried ordering tonight to pick up tonight my order is still pending. Tried calling of course automated and goes to voicemail after a few moments. Tried to contact the Ellenton store and same results. This is insane!!!! Very unhappy customer!

My FIRST and LAST time at this store was absolutely foul. I was trying to use a gift card I’d received and the cashier instead of asking for my gift card, snatched it out of my hand and said “you’re not doing it right.” After having to just use my debit card she then grabbed the card yet again to “check the balance and prove she was right.” I’d rather spend my money at home goods. Just saying.

Clean, organized, variety of items. Great customer service. I love the baskets and the organization aisles the best. I found an awesome laundry basket for only 9 bucks.

This is a go-to spot for me when looking for accent furniture and decor. I came to purchase bar stools for my kitchen counter. There was not much of a variety. They have tons of Christmas trees and decorations for the holidays.

This store replaced Kmart in Ellenton by the Outlet Mall. Great store! Has a little bit of everything for your home. Similar to Old Time Pottery.

All I wanted was a rug. I had the best experience at my former location in upstate NY so looked forward to shopping at this location. Manager couldn't be bothered to look for the 8 x 10 rug I needed even though their system said they had 2 in stock. I asked if I could purchase the display, assuming it was the right size. Manager let me walk it all the way to the front, declined any sort of discount for buying the display, just to find out it was a 5 x 7. No one offered to look for 1 of the 2 they supposedly had in stock and they charged my card even though I didn't complete the purchase and had to chase me down in the parking lot to give me my refund.Ridiculous.

This has got to be one of the worst home decor stores in terms of inventory and wait times at register. The first is not the fault of this location - that's the companys fault, but the latter certainly is. The store is full of inventory almost nothing of what you want; much like cable tv having 500 channels and yet you not being able to find anything you want to watch. It's easy to find items online, but then they are either available in-store only, or this location only has 2, another has 1, and the other 2 locations in your area have none so it's impossible to get four, and if you want them shipped to you you're going to have to pay a seperate shipping fee from each store! It's whacko, but I think it's mostly just At Home (aka Garden Ridge) just trying to get visibility on Google search results. As long as there is 1 of anything they carry at some store within a 100 mile radius of where you are searching from, it's going to pop up in results. Not so handy when you're trying to buy 6 wine glasses (sold seperately). I made an 80 mile round trip down to this store just hoping their inventory was screwed up and I might find what I was looking for. Sadly it was correct, not a one. Since was already there, I had hoped the trip would not be a total loss. However, there was only, in this entire store one dinky little paperweight that I found interesting enough to purchase. A considerable portion of the store was plastic and resin (aka cheaply made) Halloween decorations with asking prices well beyond what anyone, except those with considerable money to burn, ought to be paying. Flimsy (and yes cheaply made) racks and plant stands had 89 dollar price tags, and resin (glorified plastic) gardening containers had similar shocking prices. It became laughable at some point. When I finally realized this place is mostly for the bored housewife out spending her husbands money, I finally headed to the register. There were 3 cashiers, yet the line that was naturally backed up around the other side, was moving at a snails pace. Eventually I decided to go on to dinner and come back just before the store closed to fetch the paperweight. So I did. This too did not work out. When I returned it was gone (I should have made some effort to hide it behind some candles or something but I did not). So I grabbed a smaller one and headed to the front. Of course now there was only 1 cashier, and 2 people ahead of me; but the first one had 2 carts filled to the rims, and the second had a full cart. Naturally the cashier assured us another cashier would be along shortly to help us (she did call in fact) this too never came to fruition. It was then that I realized this was a cosmic sign telling me At Home was just not working out for me; to walk out and cut my loses - and I listened to myself. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place or the company in genereal, and I normally can find SOMETHING positive. Oh -the store was clean. I found a way to end on a positive note.

BEWARE! They upcharge sales items! I bought 2 items that were supposed to be 25% off each. When I gotta home and removed the sales tags, I discovered that new sales tags had been put over the original price. The new tags were $1 higher than the original sales tags. Shame on At Home for such deceptive sales practices. When they see this they'll probably just make sure they take off the original price so I don't think I will ever trust their "sales".

At Home excellent company but having the director of the Ellenton store detracts from it. The director with his narsistic characteristic does not do a good job since almost all the employees are afraid of him and it creates a negative, toxic environment and it is reflected in the great turnover that the store has. Right now it's not a good place to work.

Large home decor superstore in the Ellenton outlets. This place is huge!! They have great seasonal selections, went this past weekend for Julyoween and there were probably 8 full aisles already packed with Halloween decor. They also have tons of year round decor items, everything from wall art to patio furniture. Quality is on par with a Home Goods.
