I needed small bills to print at the library across the street.. walked around trying to find something to buy to be courteous, but I really didn't need anything and prices weren't 'buy something random' friendly.. When I nicely asked the older grumpy woman at the register told me "No. We don't just give out change.. you have to buy something." like it was putting them out. Fun fact, it's free simple and fast to give change! It's not like letting someone use the bathroom where they might make a mess, you're giving me change. Costs nothing, no cleanup.. and she didn't move or help a single person for the few minutes I was there so not like she was busy.. zero reason she couldn't help me out. I'll definitely never come back to this place.. and according to other reviews I'm not the first person to say that. 0 stars, avoid this Ace and the cat lady
Side note, ironic the logo is "Ace, the helpful place". Incorrect

Every time I take my various family members to Ace next to quest làbs which is a lot, the ladies up front doing the cashiering are soooo rude! Is it my fault the majority of the fun items up front don't have prices? No! Yet I get eye rolling, huffing in disgust, glare at me AS IF I don't have money! Just to give me a price check! And then I go back to the lab and ask the waiting room what they think of ace next door... I don't say a word about my experience. They all say the same things I'm saying! I once tried to talk to a manager about this. He didn't care. So sad. Why are so many people so rude and angry at their place of employment? It got bad during covid and it's getting worse! These attitudes etc now seem to be the norm! SAD!

Somedays I visit 4 times s day. So convenient for DIY. They seem to have all the small stuff. Love it. No lumber or large items. That's OK.

Jared helped me choose the right size trailer to transport my Golf cart. He was very cordial, helpful and went outside with me hooked the trailer up checked my lights and off I went. Returning the trailer was seamless, Jared was prompt on helping me, he unhooked the trailer himself. Jared is an asset to his organization. I will drive the extra mile just to do business with
Him.

You are greeted upon entering, and a customer service person takes you to whatever your reason is for the visit. It's been eons since I received that kind of personalized service. The logo is "shopping at Publix is a pleasure," far cry from the pleasure shopping at a Ace Hardware. No comparison.

If you need one chances are they have one. And you can play the lottery while you are there. If you look deep and slow into the shelves there are many treasures and things you don't know that you need.
