I called to request information regarding the community Coquina Crossing because the guard at the shack at the entrance doesn’t let anybody in without an appointment. I am quite confused about the attitude of the person who answers the phone at this park. After I told her that I wasn’t ready to move for a year. She came back on the line and said that it wouldn’t be to my benefit to look at the homes in the park today because the prices and interest rates would be different in a year. I explained that I wanted to see the inside of the park and drive around and kind of get a feel for it, but still she persisted and said I should just go on their website and look there. I honestly don’t want to move into a place like this where the park manager can’t be bothered to show me around for 30 minutes to see this place. the website is really nicely done and they have virtual tours up there, but I can’t get a feel for the community on a website. I feel like if this manager is too lazy to show me around then why would I wanna live there in the first place and what’s to say that I wasn’t going to just buy a place while I was here. I said I wasn’t ready to move in for a year, but if I saw something that I liked, I could very well have purchased it.

Gated community This is NOT a trailer park.. Every amenity you could want or need. Exceptionally active community for activities Great sense of friendship throughout The HOA? People want to complain, but look ANYWHERE else and then you will realize that this facility is the MOST reasonable around

You need to put on Realtor that this is a 55+ community, we were looking at homes and didn't see anything about that until we googled. Very disappointed

In litigation with homeowners. Property maintenance is almost nonexistent. No irrigation of lawns in my section in 10 months. Many other residents have complained about the pools, the clubhouse, the upkeep of the property, excessive lot rent, and the management. Do your own due diligence. Another resource is Nextdoor.com. On the positive side, the majority of residents are very friendly and supportive to each other.

Retired here 60 days ago. Life couldn’t be better. This place has so many anmenities It’s crazy. People are so nice in every area of this community. Homes are going up in price fast if your thinking you better react quick. There are 200,000 dollar homes and you don’t own land but it doesn’t matter you are still gaining equity quickly. Homes are between 70,900 to 210,000 L are very well kept just updates needed in some.

I purchased a home in Coquina Crossing 3 months ago. Three months ago, I informed the “management” that there were some real safety concerns with my lot as well as the unkempt home next door to me that has weeds growing past the roof. I am very disappointed. I feel deceived. If this is how it is, I may sell and buy elsewhere.
