Absolutely unreliable installation service and poor quality of work. They installed windows and doors on a new construction home with work completed in December. In January it was pointed out to them that 4 of the windows they installed were the wrong windows. They didn't even match the other windows they installed so the installers must have noticed the issue but installed them anyway. Their supervisor also did not notice the issue. Two of the exterior metal doors they installed also started to come apart. And none of the windows had snap caps, or handles installed. They made multiple trips to come and install the mullions and handles but each time they came, they were still short of parts and their repair team would leave handprints and dirt and boot prints everywhere. Additionally, a separate window was installed with mullions that were completely misaligned. In February the company promised to fix all of the issues and said it would take 4-6 weeks to order the replacements and install. It is now almost June and after numerous follow up calls and messages, all of the parts are still not received. It is very hard to trust this company after so many delays. I would advise anyone reading this to use another company for your installation.

We have a brand new home it has taken 12 trips to fix a crooked screen and sliding door and they keep bring the wrong size no calls no apology nothing we have to keep calling when this is fixed I will never buy or recommend them to anyone buyer beware

I recently purchased a pergola kit from this 84 lumber location near St. Augustine. I read through a brochure that I had downloaded and ordered from a parts list through one of the assistant managers, Joe. I had no issue with the delivery or purchase. However, there were some glaring inconsistencies between the parts purchased and the actual plans provided by 84 Lumber. I ended up with an additional rafter that I needed to return (parts indicated 12 while plans showed 11). I had to dicker about having someone come to collect the 12 foot rafter and was even told that I might have to be charged for the collection. The rafter was collected but I wasn't reimbursed. I made a trip to the store some weeks after and had to insist that I be reimbursed for the additional rafter as the purchase wasn't due to my carelessness but rather the plans that 84 Lumber distributed. I pointed out as well that the brochure features a pergola made by another company and not 84 Lumber. The manager, Kyle, finally reimbursed me but not without a display of annoyance. I was given a receipt and I told them "thank you" but nothing was said in return. It seems that in some way I had put them out and I did not feel as though my purchase (about $2,000) was appreciated. I find it hard to recommend 84 Lumber that for the uninitiated, is kind of like your grandfather's lumber yard. I just didn't get a warm feeling during the entire process. If any consolation, the pergola looks great!

Poor service. Incomplete order is customer's fault. No care about 84 lumber making a mistake, basically too bad. Can not and will not recommend 84 Lumber to anyone.
