Mental health line just hangs up on you.Appointments constantly get changed without notification. Just an all around efficient government entity.

An outstanding clinic with the exception of a few. I do not think that HUDVASH HAS THE PATIENCE FOR ITS MISSION. If they THINK you are not performing to their preference they can discharge you from their program. No regard for your medical needs or the community at large that has no housing. In my opinion this department does not serve the veteran well. Attitudes. I'm still trying to contact the head of the facility.

5 stars to the providers there- negative 5 to whoever is supposed to answer the phone. Calling Eglin to speak to someone there is the most efficient way to end up speaking to some dimwit in Biloxi.

To be honest, Idk why they're getting low reviews. I think there are just a lot of old grumpy (typical) retirees with little patience. Been getting services here for over a year now (around 2 appts every month) and have no problem whatsoever. The receptionists at the mental health department side are the most recognizable ones, I forgot her name, but she usually sits close to the self-check-in computer, and she's the nicest and most caring one that I know besides my personal care team.Don't generalize the whole VA being bad because either everyone says they're bad or you had one bad experience.

Don’t go by the hours of operation posted on google. I made an appointment over three months ago for labs for 8 A.M. on 16 November and showed up 30 minutes early hoping to get seen do to a pop up meeting at work. Their lab hours say 0730-1700, but it’s 10 till eight and the lab window is closed! So much for checking prior to arrival.

I found staff very helpful but the patient advocate was confrontational and hard to catch in his office. Four days in a row working from home with no sign on door, how are we supposed to know.

Good luck getting ahold of anyone for anything. Can't even change my primary care doctor. The doc told to not drink water because my body will adapt and to stop having diagnosed Major Depressive Disorder and get over it... How this dude got a medical degree is beyond me. They'll also just schedule you for things without ever discussing what it is, or if you can even make the appointment around your own work schedule. It's been 2 years of the worst service from any type of facility I could imagine. I don't even like leaving reviews but for God's sake this place could not be less helpful if it tried.

Extremely unprofessional. Canceled appointments without explanation. Unable to make follow-up because they won’t answer the phone.

It was clean. The people were friendly and my lab experience went very fast. The nurses that help me Katie and Michelle are great!! I have to call them with all kinds of situations and they have always been kind n helpful!! They are the above is 5star experience *****Now my not pleasant experience is the Dr. that I was assigned to here... we didn't vibe. My second appt with her really bothered me. They were running behind that day, like a 1/2hr or so no big deal but while in my appt she kept looking at the clock.. After a 15min appt and while I was still talking she is walking and waving her hand at me like shooing me out the door and then telling me to walk down the hallway. WOW!! that's never happened to me before. So Rude!! Then there were other problems as I had just transferred from a much larger VA. That puts me out to community care for every specialty which is great IF...... your Dr. will fill out the paperwork correctly so it doesn't keep getting bounced around. I'm only allowed to make phone calls about it, which I do to try and help. Next month will be a year that I've been a patient at the Eglin VA and I was fortunate enough to get to see 2 specialty Dr's.( I have 6 more I need to see).I know lots of that has to do with "The system" but it's so frustrating and then depressing!! Again this is just my experience so please ? don't attack me??..... I'm very grateful for what I have!!

I couldn't get the Panama City clinic to return my calls, called the Eglin clinic to try to get to get the referral process rolling as I need to see a specialist ASAP. I'm told the Panama City Clinic signed off on my ER visit, then I'm transferred back to the Panama City Clinic to leave a fourth message via voicemail over the course of a week. I guess this is the only way to make my issue visible.

This whole eglin va is a literal dumpster fire on ice. Both my drs have almost killed me from failing to read notes. I broke down and called the crises line… the social worker called me back. Just to end up belittling me. I’m alive because my dog does not have thumbs.
